UPDATE - 12/7@7:31PM: Doors are open and a few fans have noticed that there's a Barbie doll sitting on the shelf on the interviewer side of the stage (zoom in on the photo in the tweet below). Alex was known for having Barbie dolls set up on his side of the stage for Rush's last several tours, so this seems to indicate that Big Al will indeed be the interviewer. There are also several (at least 7) cameras set up around the venue (thanks John at Cygnus-X1.net), indicating that they intend to film it, which would make sense if Alex is there. George Stroumboulopoulos (aka Strombo) was also rumored (he also attended the LA show). So it's possible that Strombo may start things off and Alex will do the Q&A. We'll find out in less than an hour!

Geddy Lee's best-selling memoir My Effin' Life was officially released last month and back on November 13th Geddy kicked off his spoken word In Conversation book tour at the Beacon Theatre in New York City with guest speaker Paul Rudd. He then headed to Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Boston, Cleveland, Montreal, Vancouver, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, and Detroit over the last few weeks, in addition to a virtual event Tuesday night. Tonight Geddy will wrap up the North American leg of his tour back home in YYZ at Toronto's iconic Massey Hall with tickets still available. Many fans are hoping/speculating that Alex Lifeson will be the surprise guest interviewer since he's in town and just performed at the Andy Kim Christmas show last night - which coincidentally also took place at Massey Hall. All attendees will receive a copy of Ged's book, along with a 16 page color tour book upon entering the venue. Rush has set up an online form where attendees can submit questions for Geddy prior to the show at this link. Geddy has also been taking a high-res audience selfie from the stage after every show, and posting them for download on Rush.com here. RushCon is hosting a pre-show gathering at 3 Brewers at 4PM, and a few tickets are still available.
