Geddy Lee's best-selling memoir My Effin' Life was officially released last month and back on November 13th Geddy kicked off his spoken word In Conversation book tour at the Beacon Theatre in New York City with guest speaker Paul Rudd. He then headed to Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Boston, Cleveland, Montreal, Vancouver, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, and Detroit over the last few weeks. Geddy has just one more stop on the North American tour - he'll wrap things up on Thursday at Toronto's Massey Hall. But before that, Geddy's publisher Harper Collins will be hosting A Virtual Evening with Geddy Lee this evening for any fans unable to attend one of the in-person events. To attend the event, you just need to purchase a copy of the book from one of the following booksellers - so the book purchase acts as your ticket: POLITICS & PROSE, LEFT BANK BOOKS, BOOKS & BOOKS, BOOK PEOPLE, or WARWICK'S. The event is slated for 1 hour (unconfirmed), and plenty of spots are still available, so get your tickets now. Just like with the live book tour, fans can submit questions for Geddy via Rush.com at this location. It's not clear how the format will differ with this virtual event, but it's assumed that he'll be reading some excerpts from the book, and answering fan-submitted questions at least. Whether there will be a special interviewer or not, or just a Harper Collins representative is unknown at this time. As mentioned above, after tonight's virtual event, Geddy will wrap up the North American leg this coming Thursday, December 7th at Toronto's Massey Hall.
