Rush Clockwork Angels tour concert video to release September 24th
UPDATE - 2/27@10:05AM: Power Windows is now reporting that Rush's management has said that no release date has yet been determined. That said, it will still likely release sometime later this Fall close to Christmas.
The Power Windows website reported this morning that the planned Clockwork Angels tour concert video will be releasing this Fall on September 24th. Last month there had been a false report by MusicTap.net that the DVD would be released as early as May. The Fall release date makes much more sense since the Clockwork Angels tour itself won't end until August. Rush filmed both the Phoenix and Dallas shows last November for the planned DVD release. Reports at the time indicated that the Dallas show would be the primary source for the film with the Phoenix footage used mainly as a backup. Although the tentative release date is given as September 24th, past experience tells us that this date will likely be pushed back at least a few weeks, putting the actual release closer to an October/November timeframe.

@eshine: I was at the Dallas show and Ged was in fine voice, better I think than when I saw them on the Time Machine tour. I can't wait for this blu ray!
DVD? This better have a Blu-ray release as well! That's the only way to watch Rush on your tv!
Does this mean they don't plan to add any new songs to this tour? Usually they ship 4 songs in and take 4 out.
Do we know who is producing / directing? Same guys who did the last one, or someone else?

I'm really looking forward to this DVD, especially with all the lighting effects this tour - should be quite a rich recording. I'm hoping, as with the TMT, that they have a limited time showing the DVD at the theaters. After the tour was over in 2011, to see it on the big screen was amazing. Not the same as live, but the next best thing. The audience was soooo into it.
