After a magnificent start to the Fifty Something tour in LA and Mexico City, the band hit a snag when trying to get back into the US from Mexico last month and were forced to postpone their planned June 24th opener in Fort Worth to July 2nd. Things started to look up again when the June 26th and June 28th shows went off without a hitch, but then the band was hit with another curveball when Geddy Lee was diagnosed with laryngitis just prior to the June 30th show. This forced the band to take their planned 2-week break a bit early, and push the final 2 Fort Worth shows to later in the month, the first of which took place Saturday night. The band's long break proved to be just what was needed, as that show went forward without issues, and Geddy Lee along with the rest of the band sounded great. Tonight the band will finally wrap up their long-delayed stint in Fort Worth that was supposed to have ended last month, when they take the stage at Dickies Arena for the 4th and final time on the Fifty Something tour. After Fort Worth, Rush will take a 3-day break before heading to Chicago for their next mini-residency where they'll play 4 shows at the United Center between July 16th and 22nd. For tonight's setlist we are expecting the same set as was played for the final night in LA (setlist D), which means we should get the full of 2112 and another performance of A Farewell to Kings. Due to the multiple reschedules, we're expecting a good number of empty seats tonight (relatively speaking), so if you are going, be extra loud and have a blast!
