UPDATE - 5/13@11:22AM: Here's a Facebook gallery of about 30 or so really nice photos from the front row, courtesy Ken Casper.

UPDATE - 5/13@9:05AM: Here's a review and photo gallery from the Star Tribune, and another review from the Pioneer Press.

UPDATE - 5/12@11:45PM: Show's over! No changes to the encore as expected. A BIG thanks to Steven Carney and Hermy for texting me live updates from the show. Final setlist here.

UPDATE - 5/12@11:29PM: The 2nd set is finished, and there weren't any other setlist changes/additions after the 4th song in the set. The encore is up next and that's expected to remain identical to the first 2 shows. Get the full setlist so far here.

UPDATE - 5/12@10:34PM: *** SPOILER UPDATE 4: They added in another new song for the 4th song of set 2. Details below the fold and get the full setlist so far here.

UPDATE - 5/12@10:24PM: *** SPOILER UPDATE 3: First setlist change of the night below the fold and see the full setlist so far here. John at Cygnus-X1.net already has a nice photo gallery going here.

UPDATE - 5/12@10:18PM: 2nd set is underway, same opener as the first 2 shows.

UPDATE - 5/12@9:51PM: *** SPOILER UPDATE 2: It's intermission time. The first set followed the opening night Tulsa setlist except that they swapped the order of the 1st 2 songs. Get all the details below the fold and see the full setlist so far here.

UPDATE - 5/12@9:23PM: 6 songs into the first set they are following the opening night Tulsa setlist, except that they swapped the first 2 songs. Full setlist here.

UPDATE - 5/12@8:59PM: The 2nd song was the opener from Tulsa - so they are mixing things around a little. No new tracks yet though. Follow along with the setlist here.

UPDATE - 5/12@8:48PM: The show has started with the same opener as in Lincoln. Follow along with the setlist here.

UPDATE - 5/12@7:22PM: *** SPOILER UPDATE 1: Rumor has it they played a very interesting song at soundcheck. See what it was below the fold.

UPDATE - 5/12@6:38PM: Doors will open at the venue in about an hour, and the show will get started around 7:45-ish (CST) a couple hours from now. I'll be posting LIVE setlist/show updates as they happen to this thread (below the fold and with appropriate spoiler warnings), and you can also follow along as the setlist gets updated.

Rush will bring the R40 Live tour machine into the Twin Cities tonight where they'll play show #3 at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul. The band has already played 2 different setlists for the first 2 shows, swapping out 4 songs from opening night in Tulsa for the 2nd show in Lincoln. It's expected that the band will change things up yet again tonight, so I'll be making my best attempt to post LIVE setlist/show spoilers as they happen to this thread just like I did for the first 2 shows (below the fold and with appropriate spoiler warnings), starting with this pre-show SPOILER review. I'll only highlight any changes to the set from the first 2 shows, or any other particularly interesting tidbits. You can also just follow along as the setlist gets updated here. The show has been getting a good bit of local press; there's this preview article from the Rochester Post-Bulletin, this one from the Star Tribune, and another from Minnesota Public Radio News. KQRS will be hosting a pre-concert party at The Liffey in Downtown St. Paul from 5-7PM where they'll be giving away a pair of suite tickets to the show along with other great prizes. For everyone going to tonight's show, have fun, be safe and make sure to share your reports, reviews, photos and video with us. Rush!!!

*** SPOILER UPDATE 4 *** They added Natural Science for the 4th song in set 2. Not clear if it's replacing Jacob's Ladder or is in addition to it (UPDATE: it's in addition to).

*** SPOILER UPDATE 3 *** The first setlist change of the night was swapping YYZ into the Red Barchetta/The Camera Eye slot.

*** SPOILER UPDATE 2 *** The first set was exactly like opening night in Tulsa except that they swapped the order of Clockwork Angels and The Anarchist, choosing to open with the latter track instead. Time will tell if they decide to stick with that as the opener or not. Also, they did not play Losing It, but if they really did soundcheck it (and I've heard from a few sources now that they did), then that means we will likely see it at some point on the tour.

*** SPOILER UPDATE 1 *** If the rumors are true, apparently the band played ... Losing It at soundcheck!

*** pre-show SPOILER review *** The video credits in the back of the tourbook contain a list of all the songs played that have video associated with them. Over the first 2 shows in Tulsa and Lincoln, Rush played all the songs listed except the following: The Big Money, YYZ and Natural Science. So I'm expecting that we'll see these 3 tracks inserted in tonight's show with The Big Money swapped out in the Distant Early Warning/Between the Wheels spot, YYZ in the Red Barchetta/The Camera Eye slot, and Natural Science for The Spirit of Radio or Jacob's Ladder. I'm also expecting at least one other surprise thrown into the One Little Victory/How It Is spot - maybe even something from Test For Echo. We shall see! You can check out a photo scan of the tourbook video credits here, and John at Cygnus-X1.net has a nice transcription available here.
