Roadrunner Records releases 7 tracks from Rush's Time Machine 2011: Live in Cleveland CD to radio
Reader Mark S is the Operations Manager for a group of 15 radio stations (including 3 rock stations) across the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. He informed me today that Roadrunner Records has released 7 live cuts from Rush's upcoming Time Machine 2011: Live in Cleveland CD to radio. The 7 tracks are The Spirit of Radio, Workin' Them Angels, Faithless, Tom Sawyer, Limelight, Caravan and Working Man. So if you are willing and able, start calling your local rock radio stations and request the tracks. Hopefully we'll see them get some heavy rotation. The CD companion to the Time Machine 2011: Live in Cleveland concert video will release on November 8th along with a package containing only the live tracks from the Moving Pictures album titled Moving Pictures: Live 2011, available only in vinyl or digital formats. Roadrunner Records posted the official trailer for the Time Machine 2011: Live in Cleveland concert video to their YouTube channel earlier this week at this location. The DVD will release on November 8th although there's still some question as to when the Blu-ray will release with some retailers listing the date as November 8th and others listing a December 20th release. We received our first glimpse of the film last week when VH1 Classic aired a 2-hour edited version of the concert as the showcase of their Rush Hashanah celebration. The 2-hour cut of the film will also be getting a theatrical release beginning October 26th. For theaters and showtimes go to www.rushtimemachinepremiere.com.

I see for the 2 CD Time Machine set, there is also a vinyl pre order that appears to be different than the Moving Pictures Live 2011... Would this vinyl also include the Moving Pictures song? Or is this listing an error?
Has anyone actually heard any of these songs yet????
....and one more thing. Neil, how about a News,Weather and Sports update? But if you're in the studio right now working on CA.... forget the update, just finish the bleepin' album before I go out of my freaking mind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know the boys probably never read these especially Neil, but a guy can HOPE can't he ??!!??
We should all request Caravan and Brought Up To Believe frequently and get radio stations playing the heck out of them until the release of ClockWork Angels...really get everyone whipped into a frenzy who has been waiting for the release of this album, even non RIAB'ers and casual Rush fans.Well,I don't know if a casual Rush fan will get whipped into a frenzy but you guys get the jist of it!Is that the proper spelling of jist?Is it even a word? Later!!!
Including Faithless and Workin' Them Angels as live tracks to radio in 2011 would be like heyday Rush sending live versions of Cinderella Man and Madrigal to radio in 1981 - except there's been no new album since 2007 where there were two others between 1977-1981 :/
Regarding Neil's new DVD - print this out and take it with you to Guitar Center. They will match any internet price. If they are sticklers about it not being in stock yet at cd universe (who is offering the $39.99 retail DVD for a shockingly low $23.94) you can still go back in later and get a refund once it is stocked, within 30 days of purchase. I've only heard from one person who had this even be an issue. Around ten other people in various states were given the cd universe price!

Put the $16 you save toward your CA tour fund!
This is totally off topic, but just an FYI for those of you in the Cleveland area that plan on getting Neil's new DVD. The Guitar Center in North Olmsted has a bunch of copies. I got mine earlier today. Also as Ed mentioned yesterday, if you get it at GC, you get a code to download an extra 35 minutes of performance/interview footage.
#6 Been wondering the same thing but not having much luck getting any info...hello out there ..someone must of seen it..
I'm with jupe on this one. I certainly wouldn't call a radio station to request "Faithless." If it had been "Presto", on the other hand...
#8, I agree with you about the song faithless. It is an awesome song. I can't stop playing this song!
