UPDATE - 7/9@9:06PM: They are 2 songs in and it looks like setlist B. I've updated the KC setlist page to reflect that, and will let everyone know if anything changes. Have fun KC!

The 3rd and final(?) leg of Rush's R40 Live tour cranks up tonight at the Sprint Center in Kansas City. After tonight the band will make their way west to Denver and Salt Lake City, up into western Canada and the Pacific Northwest, then back down through the American Southwest before finishing things up with a couple of shows in SoCal. The band played their F setlist (a variation of their A set) for the last show in New York City a couple of weeks ago, so it's unclear what they'll pull out for the KC crowd. Since it's the start of a new leg, they may still decide to start things off with the standard A set, or it's possible they might go with B or C instead. We also don't expect to see that special extra song tonight, but you never know. We'll just have to wait and see. For more discussion on the potential setlist along with a preview of the show, check out the pre-show SPOILER review below the fold. There will be a pre-show party at McFadden's beginning at 5PM this afternoon. For all the details visit the Facebook event page. I should also mention that the Hard Rock Cafe Denver will be hosting a Rush party this evening in the lead up to the band's July 11th Denver show in a couple days. Kevin J. Anderson will be in attendance to talk about all of his Rush-related projects, and there will be plenty of Rush music and prize giveaways. For everyone going to tonight's show, have fun, be safe and make sure to share your reports, reviews, photos and video with us. Rush is back!!!

*** pre-show SPOILER review *** For the last 2 shows of the 2nd leg in Newark and New York City a couple of weeks ago, Rush played variations of their B and A sets respectively, inserting Losing It with Jonny Dinklage on electric violin in the first set. There's no indication that they'll be playing Losing It tonight or at any of the next few shows, although there are rumblings that Ben Mink will be playing it in Vancouver next week (Mink lives in Vancouver), and we'll likely see it in LA too at least. Normally I would guess that the band would pull out its A set to begin a tour leg, but since the last show in NYC featured a variation of their A set (setlist F), they might instead decide to go with B or C. We should have a better idea once they get into the first few songs tonight.
