Canoe.ca is reporting that, for the 5th time in their illustrious career, Rush has been nominated for a Grammy in the Best Rock Instrumental Performance category. As of this moment it's unclear which song was nominated but my guess is The Main Monkey Business (possibly Malignant Narcissism). The Grammy website is experiencing major server problems so I have not been able to see the entire list. With this new revelation, I had to shut down the current poll where I ask the question Will Rush be nominated for a Grammy?. The results were fairly evenly distributed with the majority (32%) saying that they'll be nominated but not win. Another 26% say they will win and the rest of you think they wouldn't be nominated or just don't care. Rush's past nominations in the Best Rock Instrumental Performance category were for YYZ in 1981, Where's My Thing? in 1992, Leave That Thing Alone in 1995 and O Baterista in 2004. They have lost every time. Maybe the 5th time's a charm?
