Geddy Lee Planet Rock interview now online

Thu, Nov 11, 2010@11:41AM | comments removed/disabled

While Geddy Lee was in town to accept Rush's Living Legend award at the Classic Rock Roll of Honour Awards, he stopped by UK digital radio station Planet Rock for an interview. The interview aired last night and is now available for listening online at the Planet Rock website. Geddy touches on all the usual subjects and when asked about Rush's tour plans for next year he had the following to say:

... yeah, we're in discussions right now trying to firm up some dates so I think we're gonna try to come over here in the late spring. If all goes well - we're supposed to be going right back into the studio and finish the work that we started before the last tour but there's something about the way the Time Machine Tour came together that we'd like as many Rush fans as possible to experience it. So I think we're gonna try and bring that tour to Europe...

This coupled with Geddy's comments from his BBC interview earlier this week seems to solidify the rumors that Rush will be embarking on a 2nd leg of their popular Time Machine Tour next year and that Europe will be on the itinerary. You can listen to the entire Planet Rock interview at this link. It starts about 126 minutes in and lasts for about 20 minutes.
