Rush confirmed to play Santiago, Chile on October 17th?

UPDATE - 6/28@9:58AM: Readers Louis2112 and DallasRUSHian note that the back of the new Moving Pictures t-shirt at the Rush Backstage Club reads Time Machine Tour 2010: USA/Canada/S.A.. This seems to be indirect confirmation that Rush will indeed include a South American leg of the tour.

A few weeks ago Chilean newspaper La Tercera reported that Rush would be playing the refurbished National Stadium in Santiago, Chile sometime in mid-October along with a few other South American dates. This didn't come as a huge surprise since I've been hearing reports for the past several months that Rush would be including South American dates on their 2010 tour. My latest information had been saying about 5 dates in mid-October. Now Chilean website HumoNegro.com is reporting that the show is confirmed for October 17th and mention that Rush's South American leg will also include Brazil and Argentina. There has still been no official word from the Rush camp though. Here's the loose English translation of the article:

A couple of weeks ago we reported that the Canadian trio Rush would be coming to Chile for the first time. Today we can exclusively confirm that the band will perform on October 17th in the refurbished National Stadium.

The tickets for the Rush show will be sold by Ticketmaster.

The South American tour will include Brazil, Argentina and Chile.
