UPDATE - 10/3@1:05PM: Here are some photos courtesy Cygnus-X1.net, along with an IG photo dump from the Toyota Center's IG. DJ Premier was at the show too, and got to meet the band as seen in this IG post:

UPDATE - 10/2@3:03PM: Here's a review of the show from the Houston Press.
UPDATE - 10/2@10:57AM: For Anika's end-of-show "gag", she used her drumsticks like a conductor, conducting Ged/Al before finishing the song as seen in this video. And here's some video of the entire first set as well.

UPDATE - 10/1@11:50PM: That's a wrap on Rush's first one-off show of the tour! We thought they might pull out a version of the rare Gorgo setlist that they played for the Fort Worth make-up show, and that's exactly what they did. There was some variation in set 1, but set 2 matched closely, and included both 2112 and Moving Pictures in full (Ged incorrectly stated that this would be the 1st show in which they did that). We'll be calling it G-2 for now until we can verify with a setlist photo. Full setlist here.
UPDATE - 10/1@10:54PM: Rush opened set 2 with the full 2112, played the Time Stand Still Neil tribute, then Ged declared that they'd be playing Moving Pictures in full as well. He also incorrectly said that this would be the 1st time on the tour they did that (both MP and 2112 in full). They also did it for the Fort Worth makeup show Gorgo setlist.
UPDATE - 10/1@10:12PM: It's intermission time, and Rush is giving fans a new setlist variation of some kind. It's not really like any of the others, so no designation yet. There are only 9 songs and it's the first time seeing Closer to the Heart in set 1. It's a good bet we will see Moving Pictures in full to open set 2 since we didn't see any MP tracks in set 1. Full setlist so far here:
1) Xanadu
2) Dreamline
3) The Analog Kid
4) Subdivisions
5) Freewill
6) Bravado (Neil Peart tribute)
7) La Villa Strangiato
8) Closer to the Heart
9) The Spirit of Radio

UPDATE - 10/1@9:45PM: Halfway into set 1 and they are definitely playing some new setlist variation - not really close to any other set they've played. Full setlist so far here:
1) Xanadu
2) Dreamline
3) The Analog Kid
4) Subdivisions
5) Freewill
6) Bravado (Neil Peart tribute)

UPDATE - 10/1@7:58PM: Ged posted this fun batch of photos in the lead-up to the show, demonstrating Ged's jumpting ability as taught to him by his dog!

Fresh off their 2-night stint in San Antonio last week, Rush rolls the Fifty Something tour a few hours east down Highway 10 to play the first one-off show of the tour at Houston's Toyota Center tonight. Rush has performed at least 2 shows in each city they've traveled to so far, which has allowed them to give fans a good sampling of setlists between the multiple shows. In general, Rush has been toggling between their Bravo and Charlie setlists between the 2 shows in each city for all of the 2-night runs, with the night 1 Bravo setlist featuring 2112 in full as the centerpiece, and the night 2 Charlie set featuring the whole of Moving Pictures. So it's not clear what Rush will do for this one-off show, although the rare Gorgo setlist that they played for the Fort Worth make-up show might be the best template to follow; that set featured BOTH 2112 and Moving Pictures in full. We'll be watching the setlist closely tonight, and will chime in once we have an idea of what they might be planning. Also, the Rush fans YouTube channel has created a cool web-based Rush Tour Stats tool that fans can use to dig deep into the all the setlist data; check it out at rushtourstats.com. The Houston-themed merch for tonight's show is featured in this Instagram post, and early merch sales begin at 5PM near the entrance at Clay and LaBranch. The doors open at 6:30PM and the show starts at 7:30 (ish). For everybody going to the show, have fun. RUSH!!!!!!!
