UPDATE - 9/6@12:16PM: There was a classic Alex Lifeson moment during the intro to Limelight where Ged handed the mic over to Lerxst for a bit. He said a few nice things about Montreal and then asked Ged if he could start the song now. Geddy replied, "You're the boss!" which surprised Alex a bit, so he says, "I'm the boss? This is new! I'm the boss! Ah, you're fired, everybody! I'm just going to do a show by myself. I'm going to make hundreds of dollars! I'm going to go to the middle of the stage and take a rock star pose and start this, because this is my band now." He then busts into the song, as seen in this video.

UPDATE - 9/5@7:22PM: Twisted Fate is the group of Toronto kid musicians that went viral after playing and nailing a difficult Rush song during a concert outside an Oakville nail salon back in late July. Rush invited them to attend last night's show and they posted this photo to Instagram:

UPDATE - 9/4@10:56PM: Au revoir Montreal! Rush played the expected C setlist, specifically the version with A Farewell to Kings instead of Anthem - the same as night 2 in both Philly and Detroit. Full setlist here. Rush now takes an 8-day break before kicking it back into gear in Boston.

Rush will finish up their 2-show Montreal stint at the Centre Bell tonight before taking a much-deserved 8-day break and picking things back up in Boston next weekend. We'll be expecting Rush to play a version of their Charlie setlist tonight, which means fans should get all of Moving Pictures in set 2. There have only been 2 versions of this setlist so far, with the only difference being that one includes A Farewell to Kings in place of Anthem, so I wouldn't be surprised if they vary it up a little more tonight. Other staples of that setlist so far have been Dreamline, New World Man, Closer to the Heart and By-tor and the Snow Dog for the encore. We'll keep an eye on things in case of any unexpected setlist changes. Rush's exclusive Montreal-themed t-shirt and poster are featured in this IG post, with early merch sales beginning at 3PM at the outdoor merch stand at Cours Rio Tinto (Place dea Canadiens). Doors open at 6:30 and the show starts at 7:30 (ish). Follow along for updates, and have a blast! Rush!!!
