Rush Fifty Something tour Montreal show #1 open thread

Wed, Sep 2, 2026@10:55AM | comments

UPDATE - 9/2@9:32PM: One significant correction - they apparently played Distant Early Warning instead of The Analog Kid. So that makes yet another Bravo version. Full setlist so far here.

UPDATE - 9/2@9:05PM: It's intermission and so far they are playing the same Bravo setlist they played night 1 in Detroit. That one includes La Villa Strangiato, Natural Science in place of The Trees and drops the Caravan/Headlong Flight slot altogether. They should open up set 2 with the full 2112 experience. Full setlist so far here.

Date/Time: Wednesday, September 2nd @ 7:30PM
Show Number: 27
Venue: Centre Bell
Place: Montreal, QC
Setlist: View
Photos: TBD
Reviews: TBD

Rush heads back to the Great White North tonight to kick off a 2-show stint at Montreal's Centre Bell on their Fifty Something tour. Afterwards they'll head back to the US for a marathon string of 30 dates before returning to the Homeland and wrapping up the North American tour in Edmonton and Vancouver in mid December. We're expecting one of the now several versions of Rush's Bravo setlist tonight, which means fans should hear all of 2112 in set 2. Most of the variations occur in the back half of set 1, where they've been rotating in La Villa Strangiato OR Leave That Thing Alone, The Trees OR Natural Science, and Caravan OR Headlong Flight, along with a possible swap out of Witch Hunt for The Garden in the second set. Anything can happen though, so we'll keep an eye on things in case of any unexpected setlist changes. Rush's exclusive Montreal-themed t-shirt and poster are featured in this IG post, with early merch sales beginning at 3PM at the outdoor merch stand at Cours Rio Tinto (Place dea Canadiens). Doors open at 6:30 and the show starts at 7:30 (ish). Follow along for updates, and have a blast everyone going!
