Rush rolls the Fifty Something tour into the Motor City tonight for the first of a pair of shows at Detroit's Little Caesars Arena. Judging by what was played in both Mexico City and Philadelphia, it seems pretty apparent that Rush will be rotating in different versions of their Bravo and Charlie sets for each city in order for fans to get a taste of both 2112 in full and Moving Pictures in full. That said, they'll likely pull out more variations of these sets than their 4-show rotations in order to get a good sampling of tracks, as we saw last week in Philly and earlier this summer in Mexico City (Mexico City's Echo and Foxtrot sets were essentially variations on C and B). It should be fairly obvious a couple songs in which route they'll be taking; every B setlist thus far has included The Spirit of Radio to follow the Xanadu opener, while every C set features Dreamline in that spot. Another tell is if there are songs from MP played in set 1 - that means it's likely a B setlist, and fans will get 2112 in full to open the 2nd set. If no MP songs are played in set 1, it's a C setlist and fans will see MP in full in set 2. And as always, each set will feature the Bravado and Time Stand Still Neil Peart tributes respectively. Rush's exclusive Detroit-themed t-shirt and poster are featured in this IG post and this one respectively, with early merch sales beginning at 4PM at the outdoor merch stand in Chevy Plaza, outside the team store at the Meijer Southwest Entry. Doors open at 6:30 and the show starts at 7:30 (ish). We'll be keeping a close eye on the setlist tonight, so follow along for updates. For everyone going to the show, have fun!!!
