Rush continues their New York City run with the 3rd of 4 performances at Madison Square Garden tonight at 7:30PM sharp. The first 2 shows saw one small change to the standard Alpha/Beta setlist variations, where the band played the regular A and B sets on nights 1 and 2 respectively, but with one song swapped between the 2 (Caravan and Headlong Flight). So will they do something similar with sets C and D for the final 2 shows? We shall see. That said, we do expect the Charlie (Setlist C) set for tonight's show, which means fans should see the entirety of Rush's Moving Pictures album performed. Rushcon is hosting a SOLD OUT pre-show party at The Rutherford starting at 3PM today, and due to popular demand, will also be hosting a pre-show party prior to the final show on Monday (tickets here). Just like for each city they've visited so far, Rush has a batch of NYC-themed exclusive merch for the MSG shows, as seen in this Instagram post. The Rush NYC pop-up store is also up and running, and will be open from 10AM-6PM through Monday. Due to the logistics of MSG, Rush has been starting the show right at 7:30 sharp and limiting intermission to 20 minutes. So if you are going to the show tonight, be sure to plan accordingly, and have a blast! There may also be a sense of poignancy to tonight's show as today marks the 11th anniversary of Neil Peart's final performance with Rush back on August 1, 2015 as seen here. RIP Professor.
