UPDATE - 6/18@11:14AM: In another part of the Vulture.com interview that we'd missed initially, Mann says how she's going to try to perform with the band again down the road, specifically in Cleveland where she says the band will be doing some filming (thanks YesFan)!

... I'm going to try to [do more shows]. They're doing some filming in Cleveland, so I'm probably going to the Cleveland shows. They're going to be on tour for, what, a full year? I would love to do more. I just got a million fucking things I'm doing, so I don't know how practical it is, but if I have the time, I'm up for it. ...

UPDATE - 6/18@9:25AM: Vulture.com also posted a short interview with Mann to talk about her Rush experience, and she ended the interview with the following (thanks Ed O):

... I was 26 years old when I recorded [Time Stand Still]. And when you're 26, you're like, Oh, this is totally a metaphysical rumination on the nature of time. That's interesting. But when you're in your sixties, it's like, The moment is now, man. This is it. This is happening. You have to be present. I think that's why being onstage for that moment was so moving. It was also very moving to me because when I recorded with them and spent some time with them doing the music video. I really liked those guys. Then they're on tour, I'm on tour, and they live in Toronto. We don't live in the same place, and I never saw them again. It was always a little heartbreaking, to be honest. To reconnect with them like this is like, having time folded onto itself, it was really lovely.

UPDATE - 6/17@1:35PM: Mann is working on a graphic memoir and sometimes draws comics about her life and publishes them on Instagram. The latest explains that when Lee first emailed her about guesting with Rush back in March, she, "was quite frankly in a shitty place and couldn't imagine doing it.", as she also explained in the interview:

One of the highlights of Rush's first run of shows in LA last week, was the surprise appearance of Aimee Mann to sing backing vocals on Time Stand Still - the song she recorded backup vocals on for Rush back in 1987, and for which she appeared in the iconic music video. Mann is based in LA and appeared for all 4 of Rush's shows at the Kia Forum. She was a recent guest on the ROCKTAILS with Ahmet Zappa podcast and spoke about her experience, including how it all came about, and her recollections regarding when the song was recorded back in 1986. But for most of the interview they spoke about Geddy's bass playing; Mann is also a bass player, and was extremely impressed with Geddy's playing - comparing his fingers to a badger digging a hole! You can listen to the entire 13-minute interview below or on YouTube (thanks Brian E).
