UPDATE - 3/24@10:01AM: Rush has beaten Deep Purple to advance to the sweet 16 (round 3) where they'll go head-to-head with Lynyrd Skynyrd.
As reported last week, Buffalo's 97 Rock is running a March Bandness contest in celebration of March Madness. Last week Rush defeated Sammy Hagar to advance to round 2 in the "Slick Tom" bracket where they will face Deep Purple.
