The day has finally arrived. I need to leave the office and get a beer in my hand before noon.

All the Sharks should be coming to this show since they ain't playing! Where you at Joe Thornton?

Headed out to this show in a few hours!!!!! Does anyone know how strict the band or this venue is on the no cameras policy showing on my ticket? Was going to bring a small camera to get some shots.

Begin the day with a friendly voice. . . pretty pumped for this show. Clockwork Angels blows me away, the whole string section thing. Let's just hope a hockey game doesn't break out, because Geddy will probably drop his bass and chase the puck!!

SHOW DAY! Nothing like the anticipation to see the boys play!

Been looking forward to this show for along time. The sound system at HP Pavilion used to be terrible but has improved over time. Just saw Peter Gabriel there last month and the sound was great. There are a couple of hoppin' places to hang out before the show: Brittania Arms and the Poor House Bistro. Both places will probably be swarmed with fans. Can't wait to hear The Wreckers.

Any "official" pre/post meetups happening at a nearby bar?

I've seen quite a few shows there and the sound is good. Think I saw Rush there on the T4E tour.

Just a feeler but I've gotta sweet pair, Floor Sec 2 Row 4 right in front of Geddy that I will trade for a pair of World Series Game 7 tix should it get that far.

Sure hope the Giants take care of biz in 6 or less!

Can anyone confirm receipt of tickets for this show if you purchased them through 'musictoday.com'? I sent a query to them asking if they shipped the tickets yet and got what I viewed as a form reply back talking about not gettingthem until two weeks before the show. Can anyone confirm this please?

Thanks for the time.

Tom

Saw Rush there back on the Counterparts tour. The Melvins opened? Probably one of the last times Rush used an opening act. Didn't have great seats though. Am in Sec 114 Row 3 this time. Can't wait!

Grabbed two FLR 3, row 17 tickets via today's Citibank presale! Wasn't having much luck with the music today presale, so glad this worked out.

See you there in November!

115 Row 14 Seats 1-4
Better viewing for the sub six footer.

No need to pay the $20 at HP parking. You can park on the street near San Pedro square or surrounding areas for free after 6pm or after 4pm, feed the meter with a couple bucks. The walk is 10 min. The Brit, Oflarity's, Henry's High Life all good pre concert drinking spots.

Maybe one of those places can do a "Welcome RUSH Fans" thing like the Saddle Ranch does at Universal near the Gibson in LA.

I saw Roger Waters there last year doing "The Wall". Great show, decent venue. Rush will Rock there! See you all there...

#5 - I was there last week for Springsteen. Parking was $20 in the HP Pavilion lot; I didn't explore further around the area but I'm sure there are other lots to park w/in a few blocks. Venue is downtown San Jose, walking distance to plenty of bars and a pretty good local brewery.

Can anyone comment on the parking situation at HP Pavillion?
