UPDATE - 9/27@3:34PM: After closer inspection, note that the advertisement gives the impression that the artists listed will be participants in the upcoming concert. But reader Thurston pointed out in the comments that if you read closely it prefaces the list with the words guest artists included ... past tense. So its a list of past performers, not upcoming performers. And then below it says to stay tuned for the full list of guest artists. So it's certainly possible that Neil will end up performing, but we won't know for sure until the official announcement.

According to an advertisement in the November, 2012 issue of Modern Drummer magazine, Neil Peart will be among the participants in the next Buddy Rich 25th Anniversary Memorial Concert - celebrating the 25th anniversary of Rich's passing back in 1987. The concert will take place sometime in November at the Arcada Theatre in Chicago although no exact date is given. Since Neil will be busy on tour most of the month, it will likely take place sometime during the band's break from November 3rd to the 13th. Neil last participated in a Buddy Rich Memorial Concert back in October of 2008 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. Thanks to Cygnify for the heads up and scan.
