The extra tickets that I had for this show have found their way to a good home.

As I expected,

I have 2 sets of tickets for Newark.

They are fantastic seats purchased through the Rush Music Today presale.

The first set are located in...

Lower Level Section 9, Row 15. (Geddy's Side)

The second set are lcoated in...

Lower Level Section 18 (Alex's Side)

I am asking face value, which is $340.00 ($151.50 each, plus service charges).

Please let me know if you are interested.

~Cheers, RGLT

PS...I am selling these, because we've upgraded to 8th row on the floor...very excited!

"Workin' Them Angels" just came on my iPod and the question came to my mind: how many/few songs from "Snakes and Arrows" will Rush play on this tour, and which one(s)? Curious about anyone's thoughts ...

Me Too, it looks like a nice item. Lets hope we are a couple of the lucky ones.

That is a good question. I assumed it was automatic for all VIP purchases but there was also a quote stating individuals purchasing tickets and an item would be entered to win the Meet & Greet. I bought the hoodie to make sure.

Any one else have an opinion?

With the VIP Package did anybody here about automatically being entered to win a meet & Greet?

After about 20 minutes of trying I ended up with three seats in section B row 9. I almost did not believe it. Seems like they were releasing the tickets slowly. Hats off to the band for letting real fans have a shot at great seats without having to pay huge mark-ups.

However, with that said I spoke to a friend that goes to a lot of Devils games and he said he has tailgating in the past.

Just bring the Red Solo Cup I guess.

There are plenty of bars in the area as well.

I found this from when the Pru Center opened:
Tailgating - a treasured pregame ritual celebrated with full gusto at the Meadowlands -- is not allowed around the Prudential Center.

The city of Newark has an ordinance against open bottles and containers of liquor in public.

Barbecue aficionados also should leave their charcoal and grills at home. The city's quality of life ordinance also prohibits grilling on sidewalks. Squeezed into smaller lots around the city, the grills and propane could pose a fire hazard.

My best bud Jim67 scored awesome seats in Section E.
Looking forward to a great show and an awesome time once again.

Anyone know about the tailgating situation at this venue?

Not used to seeing RUSH with long pants on.
Got spoiled with the recent summer tours.

I'm the first lower level section 18 back on Alex's side.

I'm thrilled with the seats...

...can't wait to meet up preshow with my fellow RIABers and TRFers!

#6 - I had a bit of trouble doing the same. There were no tickets available on the floor or lower level price 1 within 5 minutes of the presale starting? No way.

I just kept at it and ended up with 4 tickets in sec C, row 16 funny enough. :)

I had a little problem with getting floor seats but I kept trying and finally got through for sec.a row 16 you gotta keep trying over and over.Great venue only 30min from my home look forward seeing all my rush brothers and sisters.RUSH ROCKS

Excuse my poor grammar in the previous post, I meant to say "Everytime I put in a request for more than 1 seat it wouldnt accomodate me"

#4 - Posted 04/23/2012 3:33 PM by geddyleerules

Did anybody have trouble buying lower level seats (Floor $151 range)? Everytime I put more a request for more than 1 seat it wouldnt accomodate me. For that price I thought some of sections A,B or C would be available. Ended up buying the VIP package, seems like a good deal. We shall see.

$150 is just a little over an average seat these days. There are plenty of acts from Rush's generation charging $200 - $250 for the best seats.
There are mid level prices - when I saw it first on TM and they only listed $50 and $150 I thought that would have been ballsy. But there are three or,four price points.

Holy Crap, $150 per seat up front!!!! I have not missed a tour in 20 years. This is dissapointing.

Prudential in Newark is only 10 minutes from where I live.

I will be there for this one that is for sure!

Can't wait to meet up before hand for a pre-show bite to eat, a drink (or two) and to share some Rush stories with my NJ/NYC areas Rush brothers and sisters!

~Peace, Love, Rush,

PS...for those of you interested in going to this show, the sound is simply dreadful if you are sitting anywhere other than in the lower level seating area at Prudential.
