yeah Geddy was being diplomatic by saying that. Fact is, NO ONE in Australia bar muso's and a few others know or have ever cared about Rush.
Our Radio is basically "The Spirit Of Radio" in a nutshell. When you hear Zeppelin, its the same 4 songs, Queen...the same 4 "radio" songs. never deviating. never B side, and that was the old days. no chance now. oh we do get Nickelback and coldplay...need i go on?
Bottom line is, Rush will not fill a hall here based on sales and the size of their show to bring here would be too much too make it worthwhile.
There are benefits to living on an island... this is not one of them.
There is still hope though as Journey will make their first appearance in Australia next year... who?

Finally going to rush play live. This Thursday row ff on the floor in Montreal!
Got sick of waiting for them to tour Australia, so decided to make the trip myself!
Is quite a distance to travel tween here and Australia, but I've no doubt it'll be worth it!
Have bought my wife along too, she doesn't really dig rush, but wanted to come along none the less.
Have been in Montreal since Monday, but am wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to where there may be a good place to get a drink after the show?

Forgot to mention that that's for floor seating.

Also, the seats go from seats 1 to 42. Seat 1 is off to the side of the stage on Alex's side and seat 42 is of to the side from Geddy.

J_Rosso..
-floor level, is from A (nearest to stage) to Z then AA to ZZ
-lower red section, AA (nearest to floor) to FF, then A to W
but if you are patient and go to Evenko.ca on a daily basis, they are going to sell unsold tickets from the VIP section, just like they did last year (last Thursday they open few on row T & U!!!)
