More Far Cry Updates

I mentioned a couple days ago that Far Cry made Sirius Satellite Radio's Octane 20 list last week; they came in at #6. Sirius has published the full list on their website and you can check it out here. You usually don't see Rush on a list with the likes of bands like Clutch, Static-X, Disturbed and Linkin Park so this is really cool. With the exception of Tool and Metallica most of those bands weren't even around prior to 1990!

Speaking of Sirius, reader George R (also a blogger at Sirius Backstage under the moniker theamazingchuy) let me know of a cool application on the Sirius Backstage website which allows you to search for songs and it will produce a list of when the artist or song was played. Go here to find out on what show and time Far Cry was played; looks like it's definitely getting a lot of spins.

Mr. Rush alerted me that Far Cry is now available at Verizon Ringtones Deluxe. You can get it here.

The Canadian version of ESPN, TSN has been using Far Cry for game recaps and highlights. They also have a segment called Wired where they have a hockey player mic'd. The past couple nights during the playoffs it has been sponsored by the new RUSH album and Rush.com. Cool. Thanks to BY-TOR for the heads up.

And if you thought the Far Cry non-review at Digital Spy was bad, wait until you read this one from 24dash.com. Yet another uninformed, Rush-bashing non-review ... f**king ridiculous. Thanks to David D for pointing me to the link.
