Tour Date Update; Ohio, Phoenix, Montreal and more
Posted at 12:45 PM | comments (108)

UPDATE - 3/20@10:49PM: First off, for those of you wondering how to get on the Rush mailing list, just go to this link on Rush.net. I'm sure if there's pre-sale info to get out to fans, that's how they'll do it. I also have information that the official announcement on dates will occur on Monday the 26th at a Press Conference in NYC. So we have another 5 days or so to wait. My guess is that a good number of the dates will leak out before then though. It also looks like Anthem has instructed the ticket sites to pull their dates until the official announcement so don't worry about the dates being yanked from ticketmaster.com. Keep in mind that the list below is incomplete. Rush had said they'd be hitting 48 cities - my list only has 30.

UPDATE - 3/20@4:06PM: I have a date for the Noblesville, IN show at the Verizon Wireless Music Center; August 26th. I should also have a date for the Chicago show at Tinley Park soon.

UPDATE - 3/20@1:52PM: Pre-sale info! I've received word that pre-sales will begin next Tuesday, March 27th for selected cities and that musictoday.com will conduct the pre-sale similar to how it was done in 2004. Unfortunatlely, I didn't participate in the pre-sale last tour so I'm not completely sure what this means - I'm just reporting what I've heard. I've also received confirmation from a few different sources that the show in Dallas at the Smirnoff Center will take place on August 17th rather than August 10th.

In lieu of any official updates from Rush.com I thought I'd bring my updated list of unconfirmed/semi-confirmed/rumored tour dates to the top of the fold once again. Since my last update we've learned of the following new dates; Montreal on September 15th, Phoenix on July 27th (displacing the Salt Lake City show), Raleigh on June 18th, Columbus on September 2nd and - good news for me - Cleveland on August 30th. It also looks like the Homdel, NJ show will be on July 8th rather than the 7th. Shows that have been showing up on various ticket sites listing an on-sale date of March 31st include Bristow, VA; Scranton, PA; Saratoga Springs, NY; Darien Lake, NY; Homdel, NJ; Phoenix, AZ; Red Rocks in Colorado; and Pittsburgh, PA. Rumored locations without dates yet include Nobelsville, IN and Tinley Park, Illinois. As always, if you here any more news let me know. Many thanks to everyone who's been sending me updates. Here's the updated list:

I see some possible problems...if tickets go on sale 3/31 for various shows, and one wants to attend multiple shows(most of us fit that bill), how do we get tickets at the same time for 2,3,or more shows?!! I wish the dates would come out...any word on the hold up? How accurate are the sources for these dates?!
#2 - Posted 3/20/07 @1:12PM by Jim [contact]

Ed, great news on the OHIO dates. Thanks for keeping up, Jim.
#3 - Posted 3/20/07 @1:16PM by Dave S. [contact]

Why no dates in or around, Chcago, Milwaukee or Minneapolis???

I wanna see Rush!!!
#4 - Posted 3/20/07 @1:18PM by jediyyz [contact]

Will ticketmaster be wise enough to stagger the start time to buy tickets being released on the same day?!
#5 - Posted 3/20/07 @1:23PM by jediyyz [contact]

ED, what are these various ticket sites you refer to?
#6 - Posted 3/20/07 @1:25PM by Ed [contact]

jediyyz,
Here are some of them.. I may be missing a couple:

Thanks ED!!...these look like the hated ticket brokers!!...how do some of them claim to have tickets?!!...look at their prices...

Anyone have any news if Rush will do a presale??? Ed, glad to hear Indy's at least rumoured for a date. How legit was it?

#9 - Posted 3/20/07 @1:47PM by Scott_In_Tampa [contact]

Now that I'm living in Tampa, Florida, I don't really care, but I find it interesting they have not played Dayton, Ohio since Test for Echo. I saw them three times in Dayton.
#10 - Posted 3/20/07 @1:51PM by Jon [contact]

yea, what IS up with the tour dates announcement???
#11 - Posted 3/20/07 @1:55PM by st louis fan [contact]

I sure hope that big gap in July means that there will be a St. Louis date. They have a huge St. Louis following, and everyone here will be CRUSHED if they don't show up. At least I hope they make Chicago or Kansas City - there are no midwest dates listed yet - I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!!!!
#12 - Posted 3/20/07 @2:06PM by Toronto Writer [contact]

Based on these unconfirmed dates, I'd say Toronto would fit in between London, ON and Montreal, QC.

As for an end to the NA leg, I know that for one tour they ended things in Ottawa (close to Montreal) so I'd say that Montreal could be the end of the NA leg of this tour. Maybe they'll come back around and down some arenas. I like the outdoors shows but I've got to say that I love the "intimacy" an enclosed environment gives (even though that enclosed environment is usually around 12-14000 seats big).

Regardless, I'm just looking forward to them playing live again.
#13 - Posted 3/20/07 @2:08PM by scott c [contact]

Could they leave us dangling any more? I am waiting impatiently for a Minneapolis date, if I had to guess may be in Sep following the OH dates I think we will see the Milwaukee Chicago St Louis Bonner Springs swing in the july 9-27 gap It's like Christmas when you were a kid. You can't even stand to wait!
#14 - Posted 3/20/07 @2:14PM by Don [contact]

Not tour-related, but since this is the only thread people are reading right now:

Here's another online retailer featuring the "desert highway" cover of SnA. Note the APRIL 23RD release date! I highly doubt that. This site (CDWow) is based in either Hong Kong or the UK, I believe.

ok now im happy guys and gals the presale is a good thing for us. Go and register to be put on the mailing list at Rush.com. When the dates are announced then they will give a password for the presale. If the presale starts next tuesday then it will be like purchasing from ticketmaster online you go to rush.com there will be a link then it takes u to music today and then the rest is self expanatory. Remember the fewer tickets the better spot u will get i scored great seats through the presale last time at face value so dont worry about being gouged the presale is a good thing.
#16 - Posted 3/20/07 @2:32PM by Shane [contact]

hey where's the California's Dates eh!!!! Cause now my g/f wants to see them for the first. I'm gonna make her be a advid RUSH fan hehehehehe.
#17 - Posted 3/20/07 @2:39PM by Mark [contact]

YES, BLOSSOM ON AUGUST 30!!!!

Great news thanks Ed. I'll be there.
#18 - Posted 3/20/07 @2:41PM by Laura N. [contact]

Great news about Dallas being later in August! I was looking at skipping the in-laws' family reunion in Tennessee so i could make all 3 (hopefully it will be 3) Texas shows! Now they won't dis-own me (hmmm, maybe that wouldn't have been such a bad thing. . .)
#19 - Posted 3/20/07 @2:52PM by Wayne [contact]

The dates will be out very soon! Its obvious that there are alot of conflicts with the venues and the tour people are probably working there butts off trying to get them all nailed down!If you dont see your city yet just relaxe! They said that they will hit Every Major market in the US!
#20 - Posted 3/20/07 @3:01PM by Tabor [contact]

Come on Omaha
#21 - Posted 3/20/07 @3:15PM by Sean [contact]

Sorry..Omaha isn't on the list I have seen...and Louisiana is not either...ditto Alabama so no dice for those this leg. There is a lot of discussions that another leg of the tour will be extended into next year for 30 arena dates from Feb to late April so some cities that are missed the first time around might be picked up on the 2nd trip around the U.S. in 08.
#22 - Posted 3/20/07 @3:17PM by Tabor [contact]

To post 21. Where is the discussions you mention??
#23 - Posted 3/20/07 @3:22PM by Shane [contact]

Hahahahahah Laura I like your attiude skipping your in-laws family reunion for to see RUSH. Awesome you rock Laura RUSH forever. Oh Laura that woman that she thought that RUSH was a 80's band she needs to go back to school and read more about RUSH. I kinda wanna bitch slap her for some reason and I was anyoyed of her. Come on guys I want California dates.
#24 - Posted 3/20/07 @3:22PM by Al [contact]

I need some more California dates! Nothing against Marysville but that's a long way!
#25 - Posted 3/20/07 @3:24PM by Mark [contact]

I'm sure Rush won't miss out on Cali. Maybe Jack Black will make another appearance on stage.
#26 - Posted 3/20/07 @3:24PM by Shane [contact]

Dittio Al
#27 - Posted 3/20/07 @3:26PM by Shane [contact]

Hey Mark I was there when Jack Black was there I was fourteen rows back from the stage at Irvine Verizon Wireless Amp. And the concert was off the hook. Oh hey Mark did u used to work at Wal-Mart as a asst. Manager at San Clemente Wal-Mart?
#28 - Posted 3/20/07 @3:52PM by dadof4 [contact]

Hey "St. Louis Fan" do you need a traveling partner for Kansas and Chicago?

Signed dadof4 in St. Louis
#29 - Posted 3/20/07 @4:01PM by Rushdude [contact]

Rush to Des Moines!!!
#30 - Posted 3/20/07 @4:02PM by Sang [contact]

Yes! Blossom! Rush here I come!
#31 - Posted 3/20/07 @4:02PM by Kurt Smith [contact]

I haven't seen a Philly date yet. I wish they would play some other venue than that lousy Tweeter Center in that s***hole Camden. You take your life in your hands going to that place. The sound is lousy too.
#32 - Posted 3/20/07 @4:04PM by The Fwanksta [contact]

How do you sign up for the mailing list? I checked the website and see nothing. Does it have to be the mobile list? Does it cost anything?
#33 - Posted 3/20/07 @4:06PM by Shane [contact]

Hey guys I heard that MGM Grand Garden Arena got great acoustic sounds. When I saw U2 there last Nov. of 2005 awesome sound system there. So it will be a good show in Vegas.
#34 - Posted 3/20/07 @4:09PM by Dan [contact]

beep beep beep...newsflash...this just in...
RUSH NEEDS TO GO TO DES MOINES!!!
Full story at 10
#35 - Posted 3/20/07 @4:11PM by scott c [contact]

Speaking of sound I wish they would play the Xcel in St Paul rather than the Target Center, its such a barn. I think it holds a special place for the band. They've played there every tour since RTB.
#36 - Posted 3/20/07 @4:16PM by Sean [contact]

Tabor..I am in regular contact with not only road crew and drivers but friends who are promoters as well...they are looking to tour for this into '08 for those months. I suspect we would hear something about it either just after the new year or in an interview shortly by one of the band members...mentioning 2008.
#37 - Posted 3/20/07 @4:26PM by kevin [contact]

Walnut Creek in Raleigh is a sweet venue. I can't believe Rush
is playing there. See U there.
#38 - Posted 3/20/07 @4:26PM by Steve [contact]

This post says it all about the God awful Tweeter center in Camden NJ:

I haven't seen a Philly date yet. I wish they would play some other venue than that lousy Tweeter Center in that s***hole Camden. You take your life in your hands going to that place. The sound is lousy too.

#31 - Posted by Kurt Smith on 03/20/2007 4:02 PM

For the love of God play at the Wachovia Center!! It seems as if this is another "Summer of Rush" right now where all the shows are outdoors. Hey Kurt my BIG recommendation is to go to the Scranton show!!! When they were there for R30 show it was one of my top 3 Rush shows I've ever seen!!
#39 - Posted 3/20/07 @4:27PM by Kurt Smith [contact]

Sorry Sean, I don't get what you're saying. That they'll be coming back around?
#40 - Posted 3/20/07 @4:30PM by Kurt Smith [contact]

I saw them in Scranton on the Vapor Trails tour...that venue is definitely better than the Tweeter Center in Camden but I also saw them in VA Beach and that was the best out of all of them. Scranton isn't bad though...and I do plan on going to that show. My brtoher lives in Allentown, so I'm trying to talk him into it!

I did see them in the First Union Center (now Wachovia) for Test For Echo and VT...the light show is better indoors but the atmosphere is better outside. Except at the Tweeter.
#41 - Posted 3/20/07 @4:31PM by Kurt Smith [contact]

That should read brother, sorry...
#42 - Posted 3/20/07 @4:34PM by Mark [contact]

Shane, I am from Cleveland, I've never stepped foot in California. Closest I've been is Las Vegas. And I'm in the IT business. I was just jealous of the fact that Jack was there in Irvine and figured there is no way Rush would miss Southern Cali, especially with Neil living in San Diego.
#43 - Posted 3/20/07 @4:35PM by Mark [contact]

I wonder if Michael Scott and Dwight Schrute will be rockin' to Rush in Scranton?
#44 - Posted 3/20/07 @4:36PM by Shane [contact]

Niel Lives in Santa Monica
#45 - Posted 3/20/07 @4:37PM by Shane [contact]

and sorry Mark I just thought I knew somebody from work thats all my bad
#46 - Posted 3/20/07 @4:40PM by Mark Wallace [contact]

Hey Kurt - Let's hope for another Va Beach show!
#47 - Posted 3/20/07 @4:49PM by Cygnus GOB [contact]

Where are all these dates coming from Ed? I've been checking pollstar, ticketmaster, rush.com....no complete list of shows yet. You gettin' some inside info?
#48 - Posted 3/20/07 @5:02PM by keith [contact]

agree--tweeter center in camden is not a place to go.when i went there and you hd to park in p-lots with gates that closed and barbed wire for safty......yeah wachovia prob would be better there, just wouldnt wear my Devils jersey there, might want to park ithe the barbed wire place.......
#49 - Posted 3/20/07 @5:20PM by random person [contact]

no chicago?

why?!?!?
#50 - Posted 3/20/07 @5:25PM by Shane [contact]

Actually these tour dates on here are not confirmed yet until we hear offical word from RUSH.com
#51 - Posted 3/20/07 @5:37PM by Vischum [contact]

Well This sucks, Ticketmaster just pulled the Red Rocks Date, says no longer in there database. What the %%%%% is going on.
#52 - Posted 3/20/07 @5:42PM by Shane [contact]

oh crap that lasted for almost a week for RED ROCKS to be on ticketmaster. Something fishy guys.
#53 - Posted 3/20/07 @5:48PM by Dan [contact]

www.pollstar.com still has 3 Rush dates listed...
#54 - Posted 3/20/07 @5:51PM by ryan williams [contact]

Rush needs to come to St. Louis!
#55 - Posted 3/20/07 @6:04PM by stew [contact]

If presales have taught us anything in the past you'd be lucky to get stellar seats. They tend to rope off the first ten to twenty rows of floor seats for the main sale. Don't be shocked if you jump on the net next Tuesday and don't get great seats.
#56 - Posted 3/20/07 @6:12PM by CJ [contact]

I got 5th row in front of Alex from the presale for Nashville that was 2 tickets and then i put in for 3 in Atlanta and got around row 20 center stage and those ended up being very sweet straight up center. I talked to a guy who ordered one ticket for the presale and got front row for the Atlanta show so by all means dont buy tickets on the presale ill be ready and waiting on tuesday. By the way redrocks is on the redrocks site it hasnt been pulled. My guess is that the onsale date will probably change on ticketmaster thats why its not there anymore.
#57 - Posted 3/20/07 @6:18PM by D- [contact]

#51 - Ticketmaster pulled the Red Rocks tixs and then put up tixs to the Jun. 25 - Pittsburgh, PA @ Post Gazette Pavillion show!!!

It's really odd that these changes are taking place and no 'official' dates released!

With nothing in our hands as of yet.... I am starting to feel like that darn dragon!

Theres been no change in magagement and SRO has always been pretty good to us with tourdates and prices. So, whats the hold up?

Are Michael and Neil still tinkering with the GPS for a good days drive from one show to another?

But, more importantly.... HOW DO WE GET ON THE PRE-SALE LIST????

D~
#58 - Posted 3/20/07 @6:19PM by Sean [contact]

Just relax on the Ticketmaster pulling the dates. Anthem is requesting that the venue's pull the info for the immediate time being. They are rolling out their own announcement with Atlantic as well and will have a press release out shortly. All of the dates will be listed very shortly with pre-sale password info and everything that we need to know.
#59 - Posted 3/20/07 @6:27PM by jediyyz [contact]

How do you know Sean?
#60 - Posted 3/20/07 @6:37PM by jediyyz [contact]

Now zero shows are on ticketmaster?! What the frick!
#61 - Posted 3/20/07 @6:41PM by Mark [contact]

Thanks for the heads up Sean, it makes sense to me.
#62 - Posted 3/20/07 @6:42PM by Mark [contact]

People, relax! The shows will be announced all together like Sean said. That's why they were all pulled.
#63 - Posted 3/20/07 @6:51PM by D- [contact]

Someone better provide answers and um soon, Yep, real soon... Or. or, um. Jed's gonna throw the first punch!

And then, umm, err, Broons is gonna toss the first chair and break a few tables!

Yeah, thats right... Then Lamb is gonna start tossing the place!

And umm, I'm just gonna sit and have a cold one with my knee resting and say a prayer with this in mind...

'A memo to a higher office
Open letter to the powers-that-be
To a God, a king, a head of state
A captain of industry
To the movers and the shakers-
Can't everybody see'.... WE NEED TICKETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

D~
#64 - Posted 3/20/07 @6:58PM by jediyyz [contact]

Good one D~...except I only fight in defense never attack...this is getting crazy...seems people want to trust Sean...what choice do we have...I will choose Freewill...
#65 - Posted 3/20/07 @7:03PM by Tabor [contact]

I don't know if it's been cleared up yet but I was reading earlier someone talking about no Chicago shows... I did see that a show was scheduled for the Chicago area on Ticketmasters site yesterday. It makes sense to pull them for the announcement, but I think it's safe to say they'll be there if it was up earlier. NOW if we can just get to Omaha we'll be sitting good!!!
#66 - Posted 3/20/07 @7:03PM by Mark [contact]

What do we know about the San Francisco Bay Area, (Shoreline, Concord Pavilion)?
#67 - Posted 3/20/07 @7:10PM by Sean [contact]

There is a Chicago show at Tinley Park...sssssstay tuned.
#68 - Posted 3/20/07 @7:16PM by Tabor [contact]

Sean, what do you do if you have connections with all those people??
#69 - Posted 3/20/07 @7:28PM by Jon [contact]

PRE-SALE QUESTION!!!

1. Are the pre-sale tix going to be higher than face value?

2. If you get emails from the Rush.com site that are addressed as such:

Rush.com contests & [Rush@lb.bcentral.com]

Does this mean "I'm on the list...??"

3. Are the presale tix sent to you or held at will-call?

Glad for Indy and Cinci (Cinci looks best right now for me) but ST. LOUIS would be best!!!

Thanks for any helpful info and good luck to you all!!!!! We are getting closer!!!

Jon
#70 - Posted 3/20/07 @7:31PM by Jon [contact]

P.S.

...don't they give you any indication of what kind of seat you get when you order pre-sale? Gimme a friggin' break!
#71 - Posted 3/20/07 @7:40PM by Kurt Smith [contact]

Mark Wallace, I'm with you man. The Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in VA Beach is the deal. I am definitely up for that trip again, even if it is six hours.
#72 - Posted 3/20/07 @7:42PM by Jim [contact]

I bought presale tickets on the last tour and they stagered the days the presale started and they mailed them to me before the show and they were not more expensive than regular tix...by the way..I got 5th row center and 7th row center...it's the way to get tix!!!!
#73 - Posted 3/20/07 @7:42PM by D- [contact]

SEAN - WHO IS YOUR SOURCE AND HOW CAN WE TRUST YOUR WORD?

In other words, can you be the same kid that played a few as Nick?

And I dont think we need another one of those little runarounds!

D~
#74 - Posted 3/20/07 @7:47PM by Harold [contact]

There is an awfully big gap in July between the 9th and the 27th. Perhaps they will hit the midwest then. And include an Oklahoma appearance. Preferably Oklahoma City.
#75 - Posted 3/20/07 @8:23PM by Jon [contact]

Okay, pre-sale or Ticketmaster? Some say yay, some nay...what's the best way to go people? Or does it really matter...??

Jon
#76 - Posted 3/20/07 @8:26PM by Mark Wallace [contact]

If by pre-sale, you mean the links in post #6...Those look like scalper prices to me. I saw them on the VT tour and had a very good seat for under $100. Those sites above are talking $75 for ga or lawn.

I say go with ticketmaster and pay a reasonable price for good seats.
#77 - Posted 3/20/07 @8:46PM by jediyyz [contact]

I think the whole things a crap shoot...sometimes you can find better seats days after the public sale...some people swear by day of sales(walking up on show day that is)...who knows...just don't support the ticket brokers!!!...they make a killing and it's at ours and the bands expense...if any of you are these brokers...shame on you!!...it ruins it for the rest of us...these people are ripping us off and taking the best seats...
#78 - Posted 3/20/07 @9:04PM by Scotto [contact]

3 dates in Ohio (no offense Ed), 2 in North Carolina, and only 1 in California??? While Marysville is close to my home, not a very good venue.....They are missing the Bay Area and Los Angeles? Looks like the only choice is a road trip to Las Vegas!!!
#79 - Posted 3/20/07 @10:21PM by D- [contact]

Jed, I've always gone up after the good old 'camping out' days in the parking lot. And ended up with so-so tixs! Even though, I was 1st in line!

Theres 3 advantages to a scalper!
1) You make damn good money!
2) You get to claim the best tixs!
3) You get to 'scalp' me of my well earned $$$!

So, with that I've always steered clear of them. Even for my much needed play-off tixs! I dunno if 'scalping' is legal in all of the states or not! But, I dont buy from em!

But, no one has told me how to obtain this password for the presale!!!!!!!!!!! H-e-e-e-l-l-l-p-p!!!!

D~
#80 - Posted 3/20/07 @10:38PM by Jill_Ion [contact]

Bummer about TM pulling all of the potential dates off their site, but Pollstar still has the three dates on their site.

Heard an informed rumor RUSH is playing Houston on Aug 14, which coincides with their Dallas date. *Dates subject to change without notice* *Your mileage may vary*

LOVE D's post above, with the quote from Second Nature, ending with "WE NEED TICKETS!"

Thanks for the info that musictoday.com is doing the presale.
#81 - Posted 3/20/07 @10:40PM by Cheryl [contact]

Go on rush.com and click on archives. When the old site comes up, look at the bottom, it will say mailing list. Once on that page, look for sign up on the left and go from there.
#82 - Posted 3/20/07 @11:06PM by Shane [contact]

Hey guys read at the top of the page here's why some of the dates have been pulled. cause they want to wait next monday.
#83 - Posted 3/20/07 @11:10PM by Rushguy [contact]

PRESS CONF IN NYC????????? I WILL BE THERE. I work in the city and can take off when i want. I'm taking my dig camera and im crashing the press conf. stay tuned for photos. Also will abuse my police badge I carry if needed to get in :)

Hi everyone,
I received an update notification from 'Pollster' this this afternoon with the 06/23,06/25,and 08/08 dates listed. Subscribe to their notifications for both Rush and your local venues so we can all have one method to help us go insane. Take another deep breath and ...

Good one D~...I always start fights and attack people who have done nothing to me. See this forum for instance! When you have a inferiority complex like I do it seems everyone is insulting you even when what they say is directed to no one in particular much less me! Well, no one trumps the mighty jedi-dino and his plastic lightsaber! I'll tell my mommy on you all!

Ed, glad to hear they got Cleveland for you - and hopefully, for me, Tinley Park is for real!
#88 - Posted 3/21/07 @1:44AM by KnightOwl [contact]

Perhaps the Rush team decided to ZIG while the competition ZAGS !!!
Hence rescheduling of all proposed dates.
The fact that ticket prices are high and several big name bands are touring this summer may be causing "Concert Dollar Competition". (Police, Genesis)
Genesis, for example, are playing Toronto on Sept-7th,... if Rush is scheduled for London Ontario on the 12th and Montreal on the 15th,... then Toronto is probably within that same week!
I'll be looking for the best seats i can acquire for both events,... but within the same week! OUCH!
($77.00 - $227.00 Can - good Genesis Floors - Toronto)
I'm sure for many of my friends it'll be one OR the other.

Someone asked about the presale and do u have any idea what kind of seats u get. When u access the music today site and click on the number of tickets u want it will pull them up and ask if u want to add these to your cart. It shows u the seat- section the whole nine yards. My advice is to print out a seating chart for the venues u are going to attend so during the presale u can see exactly where the seats are that pop up. I think you have a 2 minute time limit to decide then u have to spin again and take your chances remember the fewer the seats the better.

Genesis, lmao. They'd have to pay me to go see that vomit! Phil Collins sucks: bland, boring, yuppie crap droning on and on...unless you're on a AD medicine or are brain dead...didn't you see that South Park? lol

Jedi-dino master has spoken! Now back to Dagobah! Well, it's really my closet I pretend is the planet and the Millenium Falcon, hey, I'm only 43, I got to have my pretend time right? Coming mom! Er, I mean, Yoda! :O :P

I'm with you Jedi---they haven't been good in years.

Neither have the Police, for that matter.
#92 - Posted 3/21/07 @9:03AM by Brian [contact]

Same here, I have the entire Police catalog on my i-Pod, but something inside me says that those shows are gonna be bland. They'll just be trotting out the old hits, and if you didn't see their performance of "Roxanne" on the grammys...it was wicked lame. I could not believe how boring it was, they just haven't been a viable commodity in so long, it's hard to see these shows being all that entertaining. We as Rush fans are so lucky to have our boys still around and making meaningful, face-melting(I love that term)music. The one thing I can say is that, the Police are playing Wrigley Field out here, that's kinda cool I suppose.

do we know when/where this press conference is to occur? is it in any way open to public consumption?
#94 - Posted 3/21/07 @9:16AM by Kevin Kelly [contact]

I need to pray for a Wisconsin stop! If they don't come, it would be the first time ever.
#95 - Posted 3/21/07 @9:17AM by Kurt Smith [contact]

Face-melting! I like that one...lol
#96 - Posted 3/21/07 @9:21AM by scott c [contact]

I must be one of the exceptions, going both to the Police and Rush
#97 - Posted 3/21/07 @9:24AM by Brian [contact]

Yes Kurt, the imagery is hilarious! If anyone needs help with this one, consult your seemingly unviewed copy of Chronicles on DVD/VHS...Distant Early Warning. I always wonder-why'd they have to melt Geddy's face? Why not one of the radar station guys? Face-melt DEVO!

Looks like I've gained the prestige of having an imposter like some of the others!! I always thought that those who have to copy others in an attempt to mock them are the ones with the inferiority complex! In case you haven't noticed young Dino, people here don't take kindly to posters pretending to be someone they are not! By the way what did either of your posts have to do with Rush! It looked like you were up way past your bedtime...put away your hostility and attempt to be your self. Rush On!
#102 - Posted 3/21/07 @10:51AM by Brian [contact]

But, in addition, if yourself doesn't happen to have an appreciation of Rush, or the thoughts and feelings of others on the board...then you should take yourself, and go away.

Will we have an announcement to make it an 'official' announcement within the real announcement that we now have 2 Jed's roaming around? Will this be confirmed before Monday? And who wishes to make this announcement formal?

First we have 2 D's, then 2 Nicks and I dunno if we can handle 2 Jed's! But, how come we only have 1 Lamb and 1 Mark Wallace??? Geez, just isnt fair... LOL!!!!

Todays lucky # is 41. 41 days my friends!

Looks like I've been double posting: one my true identity, the other my false friendly one!! Sorry guys, but I am schizo! I always thought that those who have to copy others in an attempt to mock them are the ones with the inferiority complex, but since I have long been doing this obviously I have one too! By the way what does this post have to do with Rush! It looks like I was up way past my bedtime...mommy spanked me she was so mad! And now I will end with this phrase I stole from Broonskey months ago: Rush On!

Btw, you'll notice that when I started posting Mark, Dino, Rob, Steve...and other trolls stopped. Coincidence? I think not!

Rush n' Roll on!
#107 - Posted 3/21/07 @5:25PM by Dino [contact]

Jed, or whoever is posting as him....sorry. I did not do the above yyz jed dino post. Nor have I been Mark or Steve or Rob, and on & on.
Been through this before.
#108 - Posted 3/21/07 @9:29PM by jediyyz [contact]

Post#106...you're not even remotely clever in your attempts to post as me...you must not have anything better to do with your time...if you have anything to discuss that is Rush related, by all means join the crowd! If not, quit waisting our time. I'm sure many of the regulars can tell the difference as I have never used the word "troll" to describe anybody...most of the people you mentioned still post and guess what...they don't pose as someone else...if you have a problem with things I write, why don't you come clean as to who you are and we go from there.
