UPDATE - 4/6@10:01AM: There seems to be some confusion regarding the format of the countdown clock - and rightfully so. The clock is formatted HHMMSS where the first 2 digits are the hours, the next 2 are the minutes and the last 2 are the seconds. It began ticking with a reading of 480000 at 7AM EST this morning. Unfortunately they used the same color for the hours and minutes so many have mistakenly taken this to mean 4800 minutes rather than 48 hours. There's also an issue with timezones. The clock should be counting down to 7AM EST for everybody, but it's instead counting down to 7AM in your local time zone. So people east of the Eastern time zone are seeing a shorter clock, those to the west a longer one. Regardless of issues with the clock, it looks like the announcement will be coming at 7AM EST on Thursday.

Rush.com posted a splash page this morning at 7AM which has a countdown clock that's counting down to this Thursday, April 8th at 7AM. I'm assuming that's when we'll get tour dates and hopefully some other surprises.
