New contest at the Rush Backstage Club

[Win a Rush Feedback Poster!]

The Rush Backstage Club is running a new contest where you could win an 11" x 17" Feedback poster. The contest ends on March 10th and you can sign up to enter at this link (thanks hermy). I should also note that they are running a sale on several items including a Permanent Waves t-shirt or Kings Skull t-shirt for just $9.99, and a Rush 2010 wall calendar for only $6.99 (thanks Belexes).

Wait, this one isn't even signed, LOL! Must be because their too busy putting the final touches on the new album and planning the tour. Seems like an odd thing to hold a contest for though.

Has everybody seen the ANNOUNCEMENT for "The drunk & on drugs happy funtime hour" on Y.T ? It's gonna' be the new series featuring the same guys from "Trailor Park Boys" w/ Alex playing an evil scientist (sometime at end of 2010)

Hi there righteous Rush fans. I Just found this site after being a rabid fan for over 25 years and it so nice to have and addictive as well. I know this is off topic but hear it goes. I love vinyl records and have a near complete collection of their LPs. Does any other fan out there hope that if any new work does come out that it will be released on vinyl? And I am bout to pee my pants of the thought of going to see the holy trinity again. My god, help me with tour dates!

flagmojo-I think Rhino did S&A's on vinyl about 2-3 months after the CD/MP3 was released. The jury is still out on whether this new material is going to be an EP or an LP so we will see. I am betting LP especially with the rumor of the "Unfinished Business" addition. You came to the right place for your pellets brother. Welcome to the home of the Rush Rats!!

I'd rather have Geddy's Brazilian soccer jersey from the "Boys in Brazil" documentary. Or, as UberDelegate86 said, tour dates!

This was the sale I was waiting for. I had my eye on that King's T-shirt for a while now. Thanks to RaceUnderPressure, I got the shirt for no charge!! Thank you again brother! Rush fans are the best.

Tour dates, I agree! I'm actually waiting on committing to a trip to the Canadian boundary waters until I know it won't conflict with me seeing the other best thing about Canada.

flagmojo: I also am collecting the vinyl editions; I've got Roll the Bones on the way from Brazil and then only Vapor Trails left. And of course I'll just have to try to forget about Test For Echo : ( As far as the next release, I'll probably end up buying the CD and LP/EP because I won't be able to wait for the latter, but if/when it comes I'll be there!

Hey everyone!

I just wrote a 6 page paper on the RIAB blog for my expository writing class. Now that I'm finally done, I thought I'd actually post to the site since I haven't done so in awhile.

by the way, I have the Rush Feedback poster hanging in my bedroom... looks really awesome on green walls. But looking at my geddy lee signature bass makes me want to see the real one in action again.

My band Vital Signs just recorded an album. Once the mastering is finished we'll put in online, so you all should check it out =)

WOW!!!!! A POSTER!!!! how freakin' CHEAP of the Backstage Club. Really....just about anything would be better than an off-the-shelf piece of paper. How about a used glass from Big Al's Tiki Bar? A shirt from Geddy's dryer (I have one from the Toronto show and that's cool!!)? A drum head? This must be a joke or a mis print!

This is not the first time the Backstage Club has had an unsigned poster as a prize. Last time it was a Test for Echo poster. I entered the contest, but now I don't know what I would do with it if I won. I would much rather win something autographed by the boys. Or how about a "meet and greet!" Do they ever give those away? Waitin' for those TOUR DATES!

#29 - It depends whether you click high or low bandwidth once you go to RUSH's site. If you click high, it's just the headings. With low, it still has the Snakes and Arrows dates.
