UPDATE - 7/31@10:39AM: I'd neglected to mention that the Bristow show is now the most-attended show on the 2008 leg with 10,784 tickets sold. The previous most-attended show had been New Orleans Chicago with 10,600 tickets sold. Two other shows - Philadelphia New Orleans and the Gorge - also sold over 10,000 tickets.
The official Billboard Boxscore attendance and sales figures for 6 more dates were released today. The shows in Manchester, Holmdel, Jones Beach, Hershey, Bristow and Charlotte have reported numbers. Keep in mind that the capacity figures reported do not correspond to the actual physical capacity of the venue; it reflects the number of tickets that were made available to be sold. The least-attended show for the tour remains the Atlantic City date with only 4,327 tickets sold. With the new numbers, the average attendance for reported dates rises a bit to 8,033 tickets sold out of 10,289 available and the average gross sales rose to $527,158. We are still missing data from the 4 late-May Canadian dates, the Milwaukee date, the Toronto show, the Atlanta show and Indianapolis, but otherwise the data from all dates on the 2008 leg has been reported. Hopefully those will be forthcoming soon so we can do a final analysis. Many thanks to Mark S for providing the numbers.
