No 36-so that would mean you have your silver anniversary next yr? Brill R40 and Silver anniversary that would be some celebration. Recommend 2 week plus vacation seeing as many RUSH shows as possible-did 4 in 12 days in Sept Manchester,Pittsburgh, Indianapolis & Chicago-visited DC as always wanted to but missed Jiffy Lube as in middle of nowhere.
In England lots of gigs being announced but cant book until Summer dates are out-its so annoying I wish RUSH management would just give them to us-dont need to book right away just give us the dates-we had 1 yr notice in UK.
#35, Me and my husband fortunately spent our 22nd wedding anniversary at a Time Machine show. It was the best anniversary we ever spent. Just the two of us crazy love birds, the holy trinity and 15,000 ofour closest friends. Needlesss to say the entertainment portion of the evening couldn't be beat. Anyway, it definitely was a great time,Rush fans like to do things a little differently. That's what maakess them so great.
No 32-totally agree-they should plan their wedding around RUSH tour dates!! It would have helped greatly if Rush management had announced dates all at once. they dont realise some of us dedicated people have to plan vacations etc around tour dates. I am trying to avoid 27 July as its my uncles 80th. Fortunately I can do either East or West coasts so if one clashes with that period I can do the other. As info seems to be trickling out slowly hope it all gets sorted soon. It would help if RUSH.com had a travel agent facility so you could work out how to fly from DC to Pittsburgh (once you booked the show)one way under $500 which I avoided thankfully in Sept-couldnt believe UNITED was so dear-no reason why anyone?
Kj, Sounds perfectly reasonable to me. Maybe you could suggest they get married at a Rush show. That way everyone will be happy. Afterall, the boys are like the "holy trinity". They are the preists of the "temples of Syrinx" .Now, let's talk about July 2 at Riverbend. I'm ready to go.
#30 - i hope your plans for catching the show on vacation work better than mine just did....was hoping to catch the show in Orlando when our family was going to be at Disney World, but just found out we have to be back home for a wedding on the 28th (DA%$^&, $%#@$ %%$$#%^!!!!!!) Do my friends NOT know they have to plan their wedding around Rush's tour schedule?????? Am I that unreasonable??!!!
No doubt, Kj. Preshow meet-up is a must. Looking forward to meeting you in person! Ruuuuushhhh!!!!!!!!

One more comment before I retire.... I see the way these sites are engineered. I was researching "Tassimo" coffee brewers earier today and as a consequence all I see are Tassimo banners on the RIAB site's margins. No problem, Ed. Gotta make a living I know, but let me ask you something in return... Your sponsor roadkilltshirts.com has a super hot babe/model. The one with "I Used to Care" on her T. If you have the right contacts/connections with that firm, hook me up with her and I'll be forever indebted. I'll even donate a Tassimo home brewer to your home office ;o) LOL Just shittin' ya. G'night everyone.

The OCD side of me felt compelled to correct a previous error.... Zep lost to GnR, not the other way around, sad to say. More evidence that these online surveys reflect nothing.
michin - 'Those who know what's best for us, must rise and save us from ourselves'.....i'm sending the owl to Axl's habitat.
Nothing but good things to say about Slash

kj - thanks for the offer but a GnR win calls for drastic measures. I'm exercising my stomach muscles as I write. It's really only Axl I can't stand. Slash is a cool cat and a good guitarist. Axl.... I don't know what the f*** to call him. The others (bass player, drummer) are has-beens and made no effort, to my knoweldge, to make any impact on the music scene and popular culture except to get laid and get high.
Just saw the "Classic Rock" pedigree chart. Let me get this straight... Guns n Pansies lost to Led Zeppelin? Are you f'n serious? OK, well I nominate DEVO then. What a f'n joke. Apples and oranges people... Or in this case apples and lint. I'll still continue to vote for Rush, just because my conscience tells me to, but what a crock.

kj - my vote's in and as of 11:05 pm EST Rush is in the lead 3.87%. If GnR wins I'll eat my shorts. After they pass,I'll give them to Axl.

#28, Has ahyone ever told you that you look like the "sausage maker" from "gershons"? I just love a man that can pull off a "monocle". HAHA. RUSH ON.
Any rumors/theories about Southern California dates? Me and Mini-Me will be pissed if they're in town during our vacation.
Michinman used to have no chance with girls like that, but now he takes a pill for that. Just kidding.... you still got no chance. Haha.

#4 -cajava ...we will need to meet up pre-show @ Riverbend!
#13 - Riverbend is awesome; nothing like an evening outdoor show in the summer!
link michinman-i'll send my avatar on a hunt and have him take care of business....no need to eat your own shorts.
