UPDATE - 9/3@7:23AM: Here's a bootleg video of Geddy talking about the pigeons (thanks jmreidfo).

UPDATE - 8/24@4:17PM: Here's a review from examiner.com (thanks byteme).

UPDATE - 8/24@1:23PM: I'd mentioned that Geddy Lee was at the Cardinals-Giants game the night before the St. Louis show, but reader dr. T adds some details. Cardinals coach Tony La Russa acknowledged Geddy Lee in the post game interview, stating that he was a special guest of the Cardinals.

Here's a review from the Riverfront Times (thanks Mark G). There's also this news story from KSDK.com titled Rock band Rush pokes fun at Kings of Leon. From the article:

At Sunday night's Verizon Wireless Amphitheater concert in St. Louis, Rush bass guitarist and lead singer Geddy Lee made reference to Kings of Leon's apparent aversion to pigeon poop.

During one of the first few times Lee addressed the audience, he said, "So this is where they had that pigeon thing, huh?"

July 23 at the same venue, Kings of Leon left the stage after just a few songs. A venue spokesperson made an announcement citing unexplained safety concerns. Subsequent reports indicate Kings of Leon members canceled the concert because pigeons perched on lighting apparatus overhead were defecating on stage. Some reports say the foul fowl fecal fallings landed in our near one band member's mouth.

Still, Sunday night, Lee said, "Well I don't care how much those pigeons s_ _ _, he's not leaving!"

Lee was pointing to Rush lead guitarist Alex Lifeson. The line drew a laughter and applause from Rush fans. ...

UPDATE - 8/23@9:41AM: Official photos have been posted over at Rush.com in the Multimedia: Rush on the Road section.

Rush continues their trek eastward tonight where they'll play the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre outside St. Louis. Not surprisingly Geddy Lee took some time out to hit the Cardinals game last night. For everybody going tonight have fun, be safe, and be sure to share your photos/videos/reports. Don't forget to vote for Rush in the NASA Space Rock contest!
