I was thinking of putting that article through my OCR software and then pushing it through the Google translator link... might be a worthwhile attempt...

The Dutch article is interesting, but took me a long time to read, since I only speak the language at a Grade 3 level. Hopefully someone else will be able to translate for everyone. It would take me a few hours with my dictionary.

Great stuff. Will be time consuming but what the hey.

#5 & 6 - LMAO! :-D
Damn, I was translating an article for John from French when our PC went kaput...I had it 3/4 done so lot of work lost. (I only trust those online translators for piecework as long as you have familiarity with the language. I took French for six years And Babelfish is a complete disaster...)
I read the article and then took a glance a Google Translator and it butchered it a bit.
The article talks about the author going to two shows in London and giving his review. It then talks about how "Phonogram Europe" wouldn't cough up the $120,000 that Mercury wanted to get them to Europe and the Netherlands. "It was just a stones throw away from England." Mercury had no confidence in the Europeans and so a deal couldn't be reached.
It then gets into a small interview about recording at Rockfield Studio and how recording in Toronto is "disturbing" because people are always coming and going...and the next record.
Nothing too new in the read........"All the world's a stage, maar nog steeds niet voor Rush." All the world's a stage, but still not for Rush.

same as it ever was - that is, if the world stage we're talking about is the olympics...
i think a tour of Asia is in order.

#5: Kelly, NO Photoshop necessary - just a meet and greet THIS UPCOMING TOUR! Woo Hoo! I can guarantee we would put a smile on Ged's face bigger than the one he's wearing sandwiched between THOSE chickies! *tee hee hee*
Love da Geddy! Miss da Geddy - but not for very long!!!

These girls look quite furry - the bushes must be out of control.
I had a go at translating the OOR article and have finished it. I send it to Ed so it should turn up somewhere sometime...so be patient.

If still costs 120,000 to get the guys to come to Holland and play in my backyard I would gladly pay it if I had it... Have to win the lottery first LOL

Interesting articles. Creem Magazine was on the leading edge of barely literate snark.

Rush: A Brief History of Time, Part IV
wierd pic...
first?
Yes!
But seriously, the Geddy pic weirds me out
Ged's 1st Threesome?!
Right on Geddy!!!
Ged is looking rather self-satisfied in that pic. . . someone needs to Photoshop Petie's and my face over those two chicks' ;D
#5 - Those aren't chicks, they're both Alex in different disguises.
By the way, if you're wondering what the Asian girl is holding, it's the AFTK tourbook as seen here:

Enjoy
Another option is that John can type out the text and attempt to translate it online with Google translation.

I did this when I translated a book that I received from a distant relative that was in Danish.

I wonder if this went though Geddy's head....
