Learn Rush songs from Alex Lifeson himself

Last month I let you know about an Atlanta startup company called iVideosongs. This online company planned to sell virtual music lessons online, featuring video downloads of guitar pros demonstrating their playing technique. iVideosongs just recently went live with their website which you can check out here. Among the featured guitar pros is Alex Lifeson. You can learn how to play Limelight, The Spirit of Radio and Tom Sawyer directly from Lerxst himself. Each downloadable video is shot in high definition with a 1280x720 resolution, is around 35-45 minutes long, and costs $9.99. Reader Lee B downloaded Limelight and reported the following:

He takes you through the song step by step from the intro, verse, chorus and the best bit the solo!! Not to mention the outro which he seems to enjoy! No effects just him and his PRS and Switchblade! Then he performs the whole track live! WOW!!! (Great interview and tab is also included in the download)

This sounds really cool. You can also watch a short preview of each video before you buy it. According to this CNET article, the company currently has about 50 songs in the database (most taught by instructors, the rest by the original artis) but there are 300 lined up and ready to go. They will be released in small batches and by the end of the year they expect the catalog to reach 1,000 songs.
