... We live in a messy, fragmented world, and a rock tour won't magically solve all of our modern crises. But as I walked out onto the streets of New York City, surrounded by thousands of smiling strangers wearing faded tour shirts, the question seemed obvious: If we can learn to love Rush together, why can't we learn to get along? Perhaps the answer is already there, waiting for us to just listen.

UPDATE - 7/30@10:45PM: That's all folks! Rush went with Setlist B as anticipated, albeit with that one small change of playing Caravan for Headlong Flight. So we now have a B-1 and B-2 versions to along with the A-1 and A-2 sets. Full setlist here. They'll be back at it on Saturday night for night #3. Good night!

John at Cygnus-X1.net is at the show and was able to snap this photo of the setlist. It confirms our speculation that they would swap out Headlong Flight for Caravan - essentially swapping the pair between nights 1 and 2. They even label it as BRAVO (2) - so this would become our Setlist B-2, with the other becoming B-1. We'll chime in if anything changes, and we've updated the setlist page to reflect this update.
UPDATE - 7/30@6:54PM: The show should start in a little over a half hour or so - 7:30 sharp. Setlist B includes Headlong Flight, which they played in place of Caravan Tuesday night. So I wouldn't be surprised if they flip things around and play Caravan tonight in place of Headlong Flight - then we'll have a B-1 and B-2 setlists to go along with the 2 Alpha sets. We shall see! Have fun!
UPDATE - 7/30@1:45PM: Note that the Tuesday night show started at 7:30PM sharp and the intermission time was reduced to about 20-25 minutes due to the logistics at MSG. So if you are going to the show, be aware of that and maybe get there a little earlier than you normally would.

Time for another one! Rush plays show #2 at New York City's Madison Square Garden tonight to another sold out crowd. We're expecting Setlist B for tonight, but will pop in if there are changes - just like there were on Tuesday night; on night 1 they played a slightly altered Setlist A (only one song different), so we now have a Setlist A-1 and a Setlist A-2. Just like for each city they've visited so far, Rush has a batch of NYC-themed exclusive merch for the MSG shows, as seen in this Instagram post. On a related note, the tourbook and specialty tees from LA and Fort Worth, along with many other items are now available at the Rush Backstage Club. For everyone going to the show, have a blast!!
