UPDATE - 7/28@10:42PM: That's a wrap on NYC night #1. Rush debuted a new setlist tonight, although only slightly so. It was Setlist A except for one song; they replaced Caravan with Headlong Flight. Full setlist here. So we'll be referring to those 2 Setlist A versions as A-1 and A-2 going forward. Tomorrow will be Geddy Lee's 73rd birthday! Then they band will be back at it for night 2 on Thursday. Good night!
UPDATE - 7/28@9:00PM: It's intermission time and they've stuck with Setlist A ... EXCEPT for one song - they swapped out Caravan for Headlong Flight. Full setlist so far here.
UPDATE - 7/28@8:56PM: After matching Setlist A for the first 6 songs, they made a slight change by swapping out Caravan for Headlong Flight. We'll see how it plays out from here, but I'm guessing this will still follow Setlist A for the most part. You can follow along with the setlist here.

14 shows down, 74 to go! Rush takes the Fifty Something tour to the Big Apple this evening to open up their SOLD OUT 4-night residency at New York City's Madison Square Garden. It's the first night in a new city, so we're expecting Setlist A - the same that was played on night 1 in LA, Fort Worth and Chicago. Anything can happen though, so we'll chime in if there are any deviations from that. Just like for each city they've visited thus far, Rush has a batch of NYC-themed exclusive merch for the MSG shows, as seen in this Instagram post. On a related note, the tourbook and specialty tees from LA and Fort Worth, along with many other items are now available at the Rush Backstage Club. They also posted a neat little NYC kick-off video that you can check out here. For everyone going to the show, have a blast!
