Geddy Lee ALS Ice Bucket ChallengeA couple of days ago, Primus bassist and Rush friend Les Claypool nominated Geddy Lee for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge in this video. Yesterday evening Geddy Lee accepted the challenge and posted the following video to Rush's YouTube channel, which includes a guest appearance from the Rush bobblehead dolls. He then forwards on the challenge to Ed Robertson of the Bare Naked Ladies, actor Jay Baruchel and baseball legend Randy Johnson. We'll now have to see whether Alex Lifeson will also accept his challenge from Bubbles!

Lamb Saag with the hard count there successfully draws a lineman offsides!

I think it is a Borat reference.

Once he's off-camera, I bet he warmed up with a nice Bordeaux!

And, is his exclamation a variation of Schleprock's "Wowsie wowsie woo woo"?? Maybe it's Yiddish.

I got a great shirt last year with the word 'Blah' done in the classic font and style of the original logo and album sleeve.

It draws blank or questioning reactions from people who don't get Rush and that pleases me.

I hereby claim the rights to T-Shirts printed up with the slogan

'whoa whoa wee wah!'

and insist that anyone who has one printed up to wear during their attendance at their next Rush gig makes a generous donation to ALS research.
