12:02PM EST | comments (11) |

Alex Lifeson recently sat down with MusicRadar.com for a multi-part video interview to discuss Rush's Clockwork Angels Tour release, among other topics. They posted part one of the interview where Alex discusses the Clockwork Angels Tour video back on November 29th. In this second part of the interview Alex talks about his current guitar set-up and designing his Gibson signature. You can watch the entire interview below or on YouTube at this location (thanks snowdog2113). Rush's Clockwork Angels Tour CD/DVD/Blu-ray was released last month and you can order your copy at this location (DVD, Blu-ray, CD).

Alex says he despises that screen capture. Makes him look mopey and depressed.

Google People,

How can you NOT honor a band whose first track on their first record was "Finding My Way"? Please consider the 40th anniversary of this fine band on March 1, 2014 with a Google Doodle.

Ever onward

Al needs to break out that black ES345 behind him for a future tour.

Looks like the same one on the solo spot in the Tom Sawyer video.

Lerxst, I love hearing you speak, but all of that just went completely over my head. Now I know how other people feel when I try to explain paradiddles to them.

I wonder if Alex and Geddy are swapping that neckerchief between the two of them. Kinda weird.

Very cool and geeky. One of the most underrated guitarists in the world in my humble opinion.
