Alex Lifeson Lerxst Omega Guitar Amplifier now available
7:11PM EST | comments (12) |

On Rush's 2012 Clockwork Angels tour Alex Lifeson has been using custom Lerxst Omega amplifiers from MojoTone. Today they announced that they are partnering with Alex Lifeson to make these available for sale. From the press release:

... After working with engineers at Mojotone, one of the leading custom amp builders in North America, Lifeson is putting his name on an exact replica of the custom amplifier used in his guitar rig. Dubbed the Lerxst Omega, the amp will be available to the public immediately.

The Lerxst® Omega amplifier was created by Mojotone based on a vintage Marshall amp Lifeson used in the studio while recording the band's latest album, "Clockwork Angels." ...

... "It sounds so good!" stated Lifeson, moments after receiving the very first build of his new signature amp. "We pulled the Marshall last night after A/B-ing the two. The tonal character is quite similar, but the response of the Lerxst® has greater immediacy, sustain and grip." ...

The all hand-wired Lerxst® Omega amp and matching Celestion G-12M loaded Tall 4x12 speaker cabinet are now available for purchase via the website.

To accompany #7, mute the sound, replace with earbuds, playing Cygnus x-1 book 11. After those 4.50 mins, rewind the imagery or close your eyes and enjoy the 18 minute ride. Cygnus x-1 works too. No foreign substances necessary.
