Rush Clockwork Angels tour Charlotte open thread
UPDATE - 11/2@2:00PM: Here's a great photo gallery that was posted over at Cygnus-X1.net.
UPDATE - 10/31@7:22AM: Reports indicate that the band played the standard A setlist and not the slightly altered one that was played in Buffalo last week; complete setlist here. Official photos have been posted at RushShowPhotos.com.

Rush's Clockwork Angels tour continues to stay one step ahead of Hurricane Sandy as they head south to Charlotte, NC tonight just out of the storm's reach. The band is due to play some version of their Night A setlist, but it's unclear which one. Much to everyone's surprise in Buffalo Friday night they swapped in a track to the A set that had not yet been played at all on the 2012 tour. So it's not clear whether we'll hear that same A set, or the one they played in Brooklyn last week (or something else!). As soon as I find out which set was played, I'll be sure to post it here. According to a recent tweet from the WestSideBeemerBoyz Twitter feed, it looks like Neil and Michael braved the outer edges of the Frankenstorm and biked their way to Charlotte:
Backwoods Kentucky, the outer vortex of Frankenstorm - rain, wind, wet leaves, 42 degrees. What fools we mortals be...
Hopefully they, the rest of the band, and the crew all arrived in one piece! Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by the hurricane. For everyone going to tonight's show - have fun, be safe and make sure to share your reports, reviews, and photos with us.

This was the best Rush show i've ever been to. Absolutely amazing. I'm still thinking about it.
This year I didn't go crazy with the pictures and videos, I decided to watch the show more with my own eyes and less through the camera eye (LOL).
Last year I took over 150 pictures and several videos at both Greensboro & Greenville.
With that being said, I have a nice compilation clip and a full YYZ from right next to the stage on Youtube for you viewing pleasure. These are from last years Time Machine Tour, just search user davehall2397.
ENJOY!
thanks I'll check it out.
139...I think it's the same (falling apart) vault videos from R30 they also play "Best I Can" - I remember watching it New Years Eve 75' as a (best of) the year.
Roundabout - Yes - one of my all time favorites. The bass is awesome. Chris Squire plays, essentially, the same bass that Geddy played up through Signals. I love the way Rickenbacker 4001 basses sound.
lancetheshred: yes, something about Halloween just brings out the devil in me. Have to stir the pot and have some fun.
Can totally back LanceTheShred and Neil's support of Steve Wilson and Porcupine Tree. Incredible talent. Seen the band live three times and they will blow you away. Could only dream of a 6 hour PT and RUSH show.
The Incident is EPIC and Alex plays on Anesthetize from "Fear of a Blank Planet".
Another great band and new album is "All The Wars" by The Pineapple Thief.
Check out the KScope Label for some incredible bands.
Check them out.
#149 KJ-Start with PT Deadwing and work your way around the rest of the portfolio. For the last tour they played their newest album "The Incident" in it's entirety and it was mind blowing. A killer story just like CA! Next album-2014. New PT and a R40 Rush Tour would be freakin unreal! ***Crosses Fingers***
#148 - thx for sharing that reposted link. I have to admit, i was not familiar with Porcupine tree & Steven Wilson, but after listening i really like their sound! Wow.
Loved this playlist:

BTW-Les Claypool = Extraordinary
On another note: SW producing an album for Rush = Armageddon
I see the MiceMan is up to his old tricks! On Halloween to boot!
All that you can do...................................;)
