UPDATE - 10/27@2:15AM: Rush pulled out another setlist change for us for tonight's show. They swapped out one of the songs in the first set for a track they have not yet played on the 2012 tour; complete setlist here.

Rush takes the Clockwork Angels tour steamliner to the First Niagara Center in Buffalo, NY tonight. It's expected that they'll be playing their Night A setlist - the same that was played in Brooklyn (*SPOILERS*) earlier this week. Although they did make a minor change to the B set in Boston Wednesday night, so you never know. As always, if there are any deviations from this setlist I'll post them here. Debra Ross is a publisher at KidsOutandAbout.com and also a big Rush fan. She's taking her 2 daughters to the show tonight and published an article declaring that today is Take Your Daughter to Rush Day in Buffalo, NY! For everyone going to tonight's show - have fun, be safe and make sure to share your reports, reviews, and photos with us. RUUUSSSSHHHH!

#64 - re: harassing people with cameras. That seems pretty odd. Why bother? EVERYONE has a cell phone with a camera these days. "No photography"? Come on, who are we kidding? It's not like a cell phone photo of Rush in concert is a valuable commercial commodity that has to be protected from piracy.... there are zillions of such photos out there already. The horse has left the barn.
(Though, Neil did say once in an interview that flashes can be distracting to him, maybe that was the issue.)
#62: "Fact is, I probably would have sat down after I realized I was only guy standing. "
I'd like to call bucklemyshoe's attention to the basic courtesy, civility, and situational awareness being displayed by poster #62.
Warren, the worst part about our section was constantly
having security people block our view while they harrassed people about taking photos, and endlessly pushing people back into their seat because their little toe was violating aisle space.
Here's a link to a short, but really high-quality gallery of the Buffalo show.
Enjoy-
As I posted in the "Review" section:
Well, I know its been said on this forum many times that the crowd shouldn't affect one's review of the show, however, in my case, I have a hard time getting past it. I was seated in the first row of the 200 level. When lights went down and Subdivisions began, I was naturally on my feet. During the song, 1 guy comes down to tell me to sit down, and at the same time another guy 2 rows back is screaming at me to sit down so they could see. I was dumbfounded. Just shocked. I yelled back that we WERE at a rock concert and they had to be kidding. Unfortunately, they were not. I finally gave up and sat for the balance of the concert. Sad too that I noticed all sections around me had people standing with no apparent issues. Fact is, I probably would have sat down after I realized I was only guy standing. Guess just bad luck on my part. Glad I tempered my beer consumption beforehand.
Anyway, I agree the sound at times was muddy/bass heavy, but I enjoyed the show nevertheless. Loved the strings and their enthusiasm.
Enjoyable show and can't wait to see them again in Dallas and Houston. Just hope I can maybe have a little fun while listening.
For me, the Clockwork Angels material was fantastic live! Better than the studio versions.
Big shout out to Pearl St Bar and Grill. They treated us like royalty the day after the show. Caught up on all the history of the place - an impressive story - Will definately be returning.
Great people make a great experience even greater !!!!!!!!
The show was amazing! the surprise change to limelight made my dads heart drop! Fireworks, pyrotechnics and lighting made for a great show along with the amazing music!
Excellent review Mr. Miers !
Cant wait for Nov. 13th cant believe a RUSH fan would buy tickets then complain about the setlist...
Plus c,a change

#55, I agree with you. I think the new material is some of the best. This CA will be a classic. This band is definitely not just going through the motions, after 40 years the music is fresh, relevant, and kicks rock into high gear. I love the new material, can't wait to hear CA live. RUSH ROCKS.
