Wine expert Mark Oldman interviews Alex Lifeson

Back in September internationally recognized wine expert Mark Oldman released his new book Oldman's Brave New World of Wine. The book features Alex Lifeson along with dozens of other celebrity wine lovers discussing their favorite wines and wine-based experiences. Oldman recently posted a short video to his website where he interviews Alex Lifeson in Lerxst's wine cellar and learns about the Lifeson Ledge:
Mark Oldman takes off to the Great White North to visit with Rush's Alex Lifeson, the legendary rock guitarist and one of the wine-passionate "Bravehearts" featured in Oldman's Brave New World of Wine. We learn how Alex's wife accidentally swipes one of his cherished bottles and how the musician devises a solution to prevent further incursions -- an ingenious idea Mark dubs a "Lifeson Ledge". This is cautionary tale for all drinkers interested in discouraging the unauthorized removal of their favorite vino.
You can watch the video below or at this link. Thanks to RushFanForever for the heads up.

Thanks for the awsome interview! Charlene gets her own shelf of wine - love it! Missing them!
Alex is awesome! New contest through Showtech for a rare Rush hat...hey if I can't win, it should be a RIAB member!
Endlessly Rocking!
In a hilarious way, Alex put his wife in her place with her own ledge. LOL.
She has her own shelf. Man I can't stop laughing at this.
That is hilarious ! "Hi guys, I'm home...." Charlene's slight wouldv'e earned me allowance to only "Two Buck Chuck" for awhile !! Grape Nuts ! Love the phrase, not the cereal though....ever eat a pine tree?
I try not to drink unless Im alone or with someone.......
Whoops! Poor Charlene, she probably didn't realize.
I think Tom T. Hall said it best, "personally, I like beer".
Naughty Charlene. And here I thought the boys go wine wild when on the road, when clearly it's the wives that go grape nuts. Stagette party is a new one for me. I take it that's the same as a bachelorette party. Must've been some party with that bottle. I think Alex was talking about the 1973 S.L.V. Cabernet Sauvignon that won the French taster's award in 1976. That must've been a painful discovery for him!
first.
