UPDATE - 5/6@4:54PM: Looks like it will be shown at the Riverview Theatre in Minneapolis, MN according to this forum post at MusicScene.org (thanks daryllh). Here's an image of the poster advertising the event. Looks like it will show at 9PM and cost $8 for tickets - plus they'll be giving away 2 Rush concert tickets.

The Rush documentary Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage will be coming to theaters across the US and Canada on Thursday, June 10th. The film will be distributed in the US by D&E Entertainment who just launched a special website for the documentary at www.rushbeyondthelightedstagemovie.com. The website gives a list of 33 US cities where the film will be shown with promises of more cities and details coming soon. Here's the list of cities so far:

The film premiered a couple of weekends ago at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York to rave reviews. Over the weekend we learned that the movie was the recipient of the Festival's Heineken Audience Award. You can check out the official trailer for the film at this link along with these 2 preview clips. The documentary will get its television premiere on VH1 and VH1 Classic on June 26th. The DVD and Blu-ray will contain about an hour of bonus footage. They are slated for release on June 29th and both are now available for pre-order (DVD, Blu-ray).
