UPDATE - 4/25@7:16AM: Ok, it's looks pretty certain at this point that these early releases were not sanctioned by the band or record company. It's more than likely that these few rogue stores either put the CD out on the shelves by mistake or to get a jump on the competition.

UPDATE - 4/24@10:40PM: Before I sign off for the night I want to emphasize that these are just rumors. All we know for sure is that someone obtained a copy of the CD and said they bought it in a store (as yet unnamed) in Long Island, NY. Anything beyond that is complete speculation at this point.

UPDATE - 4/24@9:38PM: You can read the CP thread discussing this here. This may be just a few rogue stores in NY, but I'm really not sure at this point. One person claims that their friend bought a copy at a Best Buy in Virginia. I'll keep you posted as I learn more.

UPDATE - 4/24@8:52PM: Hold the phone! It looks like atreyu2112 actually bought the CD in a store and I'm hearing several reports of the album appearing on shelves in New York, Virginia and elsewhere. It looks like perhaps because of the leak they've decided to release it early? If anybody manages to buy it somewhere, let us know where you got it!

atreyu2112 over at Counterparts has a copy of the Snakes & Arrows CD (how? I don't know) and took pictures of the packaging including the CD booklet. There are 9 pictures in all. Do not click on these links if you don't want to see the packaging yet!
