The Jolly Garogers are an Austin-based novelty band of ... pirates. They've been terrorizing the Austin music scene since stumbling into the Bermuda Triangle back in 1675 where they were time-warped into the year 2001. They've recently recorded a tribute song to Rush entitled Pirates of Syrinx. It features guest lead vocalist Jason McMaster of Dangerous Toys. McMaster also sang vocals with Mike Portnoy for his Cygnus and the Sea Monsters Rush tribute side project. You can check out the song on their MySpace page.
