I've just received this email update regarding RushCon 7:

In anticipation of a new Rush album and tour, the organizers of RushCon want you to know that our intention is to schedule next years' function around Rush's next tour. What better way to spend a weekend in Toronto? Imagine a full weekend of events, games, speakers and fun AND seeing Rush in their home town!! If you don't know already, RushCon is the biggest Rush fan convention in North America. It's been held every year since 2001 in Rush's hometown of Toronto, Ontario. I had a blast at RushCon 6 this summer and this makes it more likely that I'll try and attend RushCon 7 now. I've always wanted to see the band in their hometown anyways.
